FIXED FENDERS FIXED FENDERS NoreqFender offers fixed fenders in both rubber and foam for all types of marine applications. We work with shipyards and ports worldwide and will be happy to assist with any requirements you may have. D Fender Cylindrical Fender Keyhole Fender M Fender D fenders are typically used at quays and on vessels. They are ideal for smaller quays and wharves to protect boats, tugs, barges and other work crafts. Cylindrical rubber fenders are often used in ports and industrial surroundings, and fixed normally by using chain and anchors. Block fenders are typically used at quays, boats, tugs, barges but also in construction environments (bridges, locks etc). All dimensions can be supplied with cylindrical chamber, D-shaped chamber or without a chamber. Fixation is normally bolts and/or straps. M fenders are designed for use in extreme conditions and to absorb excessive shocks. This type of fender is suitable on the bow and stern of tugs, workboats and icebreakers. 14
