GENERAL PRODUCT information GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION Product Strength and Stability All products are designed to meet the strength and stability requirements of BS4875 and BSEN 527. Quality Assurance All our products are manufactured to exacting procedures as defined by our ISO9001:2000 accredited quality systems. Timber, Veneers, Sheet Materials and Fittings All the materials and components used in our products are carefully selected for quality and durability. The lacquers we use for finishing require no maintenance. Cleaning should be carried out using a damp cloth and soft duster; a little vinegar or detergent can be added to the water to remove greasy marks. Spray or wax polishes must not be used. Eborcraft cannot be held responsible for damage to the lacquer surface as a result of using these materials. It should be remembered that most natural timbers change colour on exposure to light. The amount and speed of change varies according to species of timber, the length of exposure and the intensity of the light. It is therefore likely that there will be an initial colour mismatch between new items of furniture and those that have been in use for some time; this colour difference will even out over a period of time. Wood is a natural material and we cannot guarantee the continuity of grain and texture in products or samples. Natural wood veneers can be subject to surface cracking as a result of prolonged exposure to low levels of humidity; our guarantee does not cover this phenomenon. The above comments do not apply to laminate or melamine faced chipboards, where any initial colour difference is usually much less and any subsequent change is very small. Ecology Wherever possible we use timber-based materials, which are sourced from countries which have a defined and implemented policy for the management of timber resources. All modules are fitted with a front mounted flush 18mm thick modesty panel incorporating a recessed metallic kick plate. Low units are supplied with a reduced depth intermediate support panel fitted with levelling adjusters and high units are also supplied as standard with a reduced depth intermediate support panel. For end modules the type of full width frame must be specified as either a full width perforated metal or wood panel. Each counter module is supplied with connector bolts for joining module runs together. The units where indicated are supplied flat packed. Low Quadrant Units 30, 45, 60 & 90 degree. Tops are 800mm deep; the external radius of the top is 800mm. The unit comes as standard with 400mm wide reduced depth intermediate support panel for knee space. The units are fitted with a full height curved modesty panel. The quadrant sections are supplied pre-assembled. High Quadrant Units 30, 45, 60 & 90 degree. Main tops are 800mm deep and the counter tops are 350mm deep with a clear height of 400mm above the main top; the external radius of the top is 800mm. The main top comes as standard with 400mm wide reduced depth intermediate support panel for knee space and the counter top with a reduced depth intermediate support panel. The units are fitted with a full height curved modesty panel. The quadrant sections are supplied pre-assembled. First veneer finish indicates veneer on the inner panel. 2nd veneer is the perimeter cross banding. Front Panel Combination Veneering For pricing purposes the module price is based on the highest veneer price band of the 2 complementary veneers selected. Low Unit Combination Veneering Front panel is split in height with 2 complementary veneer combinations. High Unit Combination Veneering The front panel is split into three sections, the top and bottom section being the same veneer and the middle section a complementary veneer lined to match through with the veneering on adjacent low units. Staining to Special finish Veneer colour staining is available with the Fusion Counter system. Note the colour matching option may not be available on certain combinations of veneers when either the crossbanding or combination veneering option is required. Veneer Corporate Logos The option of laser cut inlaid veneer logos is available on all front panels and Privacy screens. Prices are quoted based on customer requirements. Silver Painted End Panel Silver infil panel. Wood panel end frame end panel with a full height wood infil panel. OPTIONS Low Unit Shaped Top A 400mm radius semicircular top extension providing either a meeting point on the counter end suitable for wheelchair access or can be used in conjunction with the Low turret option below. This option is available on any end counter module. NB this option adds 400mm to the overall specified length of the module. Low Unit Turret A 400mm radius semicircular turret with matching recessed plinth detail to marry in with adjacent counter modules. NB This can only be used in conjunction with the Low Unit Shaped Top. Glass Shelves A 10mm thick clear toughened plate glass shelf unit mounted on 200mm high polished chrome support pillars. 6

Low Unit Greeting Point An elliptical front top extension giving a 400mm top overhang to the front of the counter module suitable for wheelchair access. Desk Under Mobile Pedestal Top and carcase panels all 18mm thick. Drawer sections fitted with auto locking, drawers, solid beech with a dowel construction mounted on roller runners, filing drawers mounted on full extension ball bearing runners and fitted with a hanging filing cradle, filing drawer fitted with anti-tilt castor. Unit mounted on 4 locking castors. NB This option is only available on the low annular, low radial and low straight units. HIGH OPTIONS High Unit Shaped Top with Turret A 175mm radius semicircular top extension with the turret. This option is available on any upper counter end module providing there is either the low unit shaped top specified below or there is a low module adjacent to the high counter module. NB this option adds 175mm to the overall specified length of the module. Wood Bag Shelves A 25mm thick 160mm wide shelf edged all round 3mm solid lip. The shelf is fitted to the counter modesty panel with nickelplated bag shelf brackets. The bag shelves are supplied loose for fitting in the desired position at installation. STORAGE ACCESSORIES Under Counter Open Fronted Storage Floor standing open fronted storage cupboard, tops and carcase panels all 18mm thick. Unit includes a single adjustable shelf and is supplied with levelling adjusters to allow cabinet to be fitted up to the underside of the counter top. Under Counter Sliding Door Storage Floor standing locking sliding door storage cupboard, tops and carcase panels all 18mm thick. Fitted adjustable shelf enclosed by locking sliding wood doors fitted with silver bow handle as standard. Unit supplied with levelling adjusters to allow cabinet to be fitted up to the underside of the counter top. Under Counter Hinged Door Storage Floor standing locking hinged door storage cupboard, tops and carcase panels all 18mm thick. Fitted adjustable shelf enclosed by locking hinged wood doors fitted with silver bow handle as standard. Printer Slot To provide a slot in the main desk top for feeding of continuous computer paper to desk top printers (please indicate exact position for this option). Pullout Keyboard shelf A simple wood pullout shelf to allow standard computer keyboards to be positioned below the desktop. Wire Management Trunking A simple 3 compartment plastic trunking supplied in 1.5m lengths with double-sided tape of fitting after installation.
