ACID CONTROL Acids formed when diesel fuel is burned can escape into your oil, where they corrode parts of your engine, such as the bearings and pistons pictured here. Shell Rotella oils contain powerful neutralizing agents that protect the engine from attack. Acid attack on bearings can cause engine failure.
