Safety Information Please take these safety precautions. 1. We are not responsible for any injuries or damages resulting from wrongful use of our system. 2. When engaging in Remote Start mode, the gear must be in parked or neutral position and the emergency brake must be applied. 3. In a manual transmission vehicle, do not activate the Remote Start when the gear is ON. When engaging in Remote Start, the gear must rest in neutral. 4. The transmitting (TX) and receiving (RX) distance may vary due to the vehicle surroundings. 5. In the unlikely event you discover a malfunction with the product, do not try to repair it yourself by opening up the brain of the unit. This will void all warranties.
[Remote Button Functions] 1. Arm / Disarm 1-1) Door Lock (Arm) You can lock and arm your vehicle by pressing the ( ) button for 0.5 second. The siren will chirp and the parking lights will flash once each. If the side mirror option has been installed, it will fold as well. < LED During Armed stage> * 0.5 seconds : Press the button for 0.5 second. * 2+ seconds : Press the button for 2 seconds, or until it operates. * + : Press both buttons simultaneously. 1-2) Door Unlock (Disarm) You can unlock and disarm your vehicle by pressing the ( ) button for 0.5 second. The siren will chirp and the parking lights will flash twice each. If the side mirror option has been installed, it will unfold. The number of chirps and parking light flashes indicates the status of your vehicle during the armed stage. Two chirps and two parking light flashes indicates that there weren t any issues during the armed stage. 2. Remote Start 3. Push-to-Start Press ( ) button for 2 seconds to activate the Remote Start. The vehicle will chirp and the parking lights will flash once to confirm that the Remote Start mode has been activated. Next, step into the vehicle and press on the brake to alert the system that you are now ready to drive. If the Remote Start mode failed, the system will automatically run 2 more times. Once the Remote Start mode has been activated, the engine will run for 15 minutes by default. This may be adjusted to 25 minutes by pressing on the ( ) button for 2 seconds. * Remote Start Troubleshooting When the Remote Start is not operating correctly, the vehicle will chirp three times followed by parking light flashes. You can find out the reason for the error by counting the parking light flashes. Repeat this step to turn the engine off as well. < Ignition ON/OFF > Note If the above step is not working properly, a backup start mode can be activated by pressing on the Push-to-Start button for 6 seconds. Repeat this step to turn the engine off as well. * Emergency Engine Shut off If you are not able to stop the engine from the Push-to-Start button, you may engage in the emergency engine shut off by doing the following. Auto Transmission Activate and release the parking brake 7 times in 12 seconds. Manual Transmission Activate and release the E-brake 7 times in 12 seconds. 3-2) ACC Mode Without pressing on the brake, simply press the Push-to-Start button once to activate the ACC mode. 3-3) Ignition ON Mode Without pressing on the brake, press the Push-to-Start button once more from the ACC mode. < ACC > < ON > 5. Panic Mode Panic mode can be activated by pressing the ( ) button for 2 seconds. When activated, all the doors will lock and the siren will go off for 90 seconds. Parking lights will constantly flash during this time. 6. Silent Mode ON/OFF for Arm/Disarm Press the ( + ) button simultaneously for 0.5 second to activate and deactivate the Silent mode. 4. Trunk Release (Vehicles that can open the trunk electronically) 7. Valet Mode Press the ( ) button for 2 seconds to unlock your trunk. You will hear 2 chirps and see 2 parking light flashes to confirm that your trunk is open. Press the ( + ) button simultaneously for 0.5 second to activate and deactivate the Valet mode. When in Valet mode, you can only lock and unlock the vehicle from the remote. 8. Timer Start Mode Press the ( + ) button simultaneously for 2 seconds to auto start. When activated, your vehicle will automatically start at the scheduled time. Default setting is set to run every 24 hours and it can be changed to start every 3 hours. Note Make sure the vehicle is in an open area during the Timer Start mode. Do not engage in this mode when the vehicle is parked in a garage, carport, or any other enclosed area. 9. Turbo Mode 10. Auxiliary Output If an auxiliary output was installed on your vehicle during the initial installation, you can use this to control various functions, such as sunroof, power windows, convertible tops, etc. 10-1) Aux1 Press the ( ) button for 0.5 second to open and close your auxiliary 1 output. 10-2) Aux2 Press the ( ) button for 0.5 second to open and close your auxiliary 2 output. Press the ( + ) button simultaneously for 2 seconds to turn on the Turbo mode. 11. Easy Door Lock In case a remote is not present, you can still unlock and lock your vehicle with the Easy Door Lock 11-1) How to Input the Password 1. Decide on a passcode, a 4 digit number. (i.e. 1234) 2. Step into the vehicle. 3. Open the driver side door. 4. Press the Start button so that it is on the Ignition ON position. 5. Step out of the vehicle. 6. Knock on the Easy Door Lock a few times until you see all the LED lights flash. 7. LED light will now move from 1 to 0. (Each number will be lit for 2 seconds) 8. Knock on the pad when the number to your passcode is lit. (Each time a number is entered, the LED light will restart from the 1 position) i.e.) On a passcode for 1234. a. Tap when the LED light is lit on the 1. b. LED light will restart from the 1 position and move onto 2. c. Tap when the LED light is lit on the 2. d. LED light will restart from the 1 position and move onto 2 and 3. e. Tap when the LED light is lit on the 3. f. LED light will restart from the 1 position and move onto 2, 3 and 4. g. Tap when the LED light is lit on the 4. 9. Once all 4 number passcodes are entered, the siren will beep once and the parking light will flash once. 10. Easy Door Lock programming is now complete. 11-2) Unlock and Disarm (Without a Remote) 1. Knock on the Easy Door Lock pad twice. (All LED lights will flash once) 2. Knock on the pad when you see the number to your passcode are lit. (Each time a number is entered, the LED light will restart from the 1 position) 3. Once all 4 number passcodes are entered, the siren will beep twice and the parking light will flash twice. 4. Your vehicle will unlock for 5 seconds. 5. 11-3) Lock and Arm (Without a remote) Once all the doors are closed, the vehicle will lock itself in 15 seconds. 11-4) Remote Registration 1. Press the Start button (OFF ACC ON) 4 times. ON light should be displayed. (Parking light flash once, ready to program the remotes) 2. Press the ( ) button on the 1st remote. 3. Then press the ( ) button on the 2nd remote. (When the lock button is pressed on the remote, paking light flash once) 4. Remote programming is now complete. 12. Smart Door SMART DOOR allows you to lock (arm) and unlock (disarm) automatically once the vehicle recognizes the Smart Remote. When the Smart Remote is within the communication range (6-8 feet) of the LF module, it will unlock (disarm) the vehicle. When the Smart Remote is not detected in the communication range (6-8 feet), the vehicle will lock (arm). Please note that this function will not operate if the engine is running or the door is open. 12-1) Smart Door Lock Registration 1. Open the driver side door. 2. Make sure the Push-to-Start is set to the OFF position. ( START light should be lit) 3. Press the ( ) button for 2 seconds on the 1st remote. (Siren will beep twice) 4. 12-2) Smart Door Pause To prevent the system from unlocking and locking while you are constantly in and out of the 6-8 feet range of the vehicle (putting a child into a car seat, putting away shipping bags, etc.), pause the Smart Door system by pressing the ( + ) button simultaneously for 2 seconds.
