1. OPERATOR WARNINGS Please, avoid the improper disposal of waste in the environment, the planet thank to you SAFETY AT WORK Keep in mind that SAFETY requires CONTINUING WARNING, OBSERVATION and CAUTION during storage and handling, transport and maintenance of the planter. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) AT WORK IS VERY IMPORTANT TO PROTECT YOUR HEALTH. PLEASE, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL Before mounting, adjusting or maintenance procedures, please, consult the instructions manual. 3

2. SPRAYER HANDLEBARS ASSEMBLY 1 - The Sprayer handlebars must be assembled in parallel 2 - Screw the rod connecting the handlebars 3 - Check to that both handlebars are the same distance or height from the ground. 4 - Then, screw the handlebars in the frame Do not use excessive force to screw. 4

3. TANK ASSEMBLY ON THE FRAME Warning: When assemble the tank on the frame, please check carefully mainly the following items: - Chamber - Chamber valve - Cylinder - Gaskets It is important the good condition of the listed items to have the proper performance of the equipment. 1 Put the tank on the sprayer frame Warning: Must be placed at the side of sprayer crankshaft box. 2 Pass the strap through the tank handle and tighten the screw buckle to fasten the tank on the frame. How to pass the strap through the screw buckle Screw buckle Warning: Do not tighten excessively the screw buckle. 5

3 Fit the pumping rod of the chamber and put the washers and lock with R clip. 4 Mounting the trigger on the handlebar. Warning: Do not tighten excessively the trigger clamp. Warning: Make mounting the trigger valve placing the trigger to underside. Note: Make mounting with the original hose of the tank. 6

4. SPRAY BOOM ASSEMBLY 1 - Fit the boom rods in the frame and screw it. 2 - Insert the boom guide device in the rods and tighten the thumbscrew to firm the spray boom. 3 - Assemble the spray boom starting from the side already tight in the boom guide device. 4 - Stretch the hose and tighten the clamp bolts. 7

5 Assemble the spray boom of the other side. 6 Screw the other side of the boom guide device, not overtighten. 7 Attach the end device in the rods. 8 Pass the hose through between the rods. 9 Pass the hose behind the strap. 10 Screw the hose at the end of the spray lance. 8

5. SPRAY BOOM ADJUSTMENT 1 - The spray boom works both horizontally and vertically. 3.35m Spray boom with 8 nozzles - 3.85 m spray application band width 2 - Adjustment of the spray boom height The height of spray boom can be adjusted of 0.30 m to 1.30 m from the ground. x x x x Loosen both thumbscrews that holding the spray boom in the rod. Place the spray boom at the required height. Re-tighten the thumbscrews. NOTE: The spray boom height should be enough that the spray bandwidth has minimum overlap. 9

3 Angle adjustment Mostly used to sloping land. x x x Loosen the central thumbscrew. Place the spray boom to the required angle. Re-tighten the thumbscrew. 6. SPRAY PRESSURE REGULATING Loosen thumbscrew and adjust at the required pressure. For the pressure regulating to one nozzle consider from 0.5 to 0.8 cm of the piston stroke. For the 8 nozzles spray boom about 4 cm of the piston stroke. To work with the maximum piston strokes is required exchange the nozzles or add more nozzles at the spray boom to not block the wheel. The liquid should be sprayed uniformly and the wheel turns normally. If the wheel is blocked, it indicates that there is overpressure. 10

For the uniform application, firstly disconnect the pumping rod (a kind of clutch of the pumping mechanism) of the pumping mechanism (as shown at the pictures), and pump manually to produce the starting pressure - pumping five times, at least. 7. SPRAYER CLUTCH For transporting of the equipment use the sprayer clutch mechanism as shown below. The same time push the middle of the pumping rod forward and the piston down. Thus the pumping function becomes inactive. 8. CONSERVATION & MAINTENANCE Greasing and oiling points At the crankshaft: - Oiling on the box sides - Also can remove the 4 screws to disassemble the crankshaft box and grease the shaft. 11

To lubricate the wheel hub: - Dropping oil in the sides wheel hub - Also can remove the wheel from the frame. At the hub there is a bush with a little hole where is possible to inject grease. The piston must be kept clean. The remaining waste can be pumping hard, reducing the spraying performance. Lubricate the piston with fine oil, never use grease. Important Tip When in use is recommended to make a proper lubrication 2 times per day. Remove the piston and lubricate until the gasket at the bottom. This may allow a smooth working and uniform performance. 12

Cleaning the Sprayer After finishing the spray application, clean and wash all equipment in an approved decontamination area. Pump until the discharge runs clear. ATTENTION Remove all chemicals before storing the sprayer. Chemical products have different reactions and can damage the sprayer components as well as cause personal injury. Periodically, clean the chamber and lubricate the components as shown. Remove the chamber and lubricate the piston cups. 9. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS ATTENTION! READ CAREFULLY THE CHEMICALS MANUFACTURER'S LABELS 13

Put 5 liters of water in a bucket and add the chemical product. Stir until it becomes an homogeneous mixture. Pour the solution into the tank while filling with water. ATTENTION! Wash hands and other parts of the body that have touched chemicals before starting to spray. Read carefully the chemicals manufacturer's label. Use of individual protective clothing and safety equipment is obligatory. Do not eat, drink or smoke while spraying. Do not pollute the environment. 14

Keep the products out of reach of children and animals. Lock up the chemical products to prevent untrained persons to handle them. After finishing the spray application, take a shower with plenty of water and soap. Put on clean clothes. WARNING: The clothing used during the application must be washed separate from other clothes of ordinary use. ATTENTION! In case of poisoning, see a doctor immediately and show him the chemicals manufacturer's label. 15
