The company was founded in 1923 by D. William Fabian Fischer, a German national residing in Spain. In March 1977 EXCELSIOR GROUP was established as an unlimited company and in October 2010 it became Ltd. Our registered office is located in the street Baños de Montemayor, 5, Madrid (Spain). In the last 20 years, we have gained a great experience in the field of refurbishment, installing elevators in buildings which had originally been built without them. We also provide the largest range of accessibility products available in the market (vertical platform lifts, stairlifts, wheelchair lifts and residential elevators). We specialize in both passenger elevators and cargo lifts (dumbwaiters, lifts and car lifts). EXCELSIOR GROUP has its own factory where we design and produce all of our own elevator components. This allows us to customize every job as needed, particularly in older buildings. Our 16,000 square feet of factory space enables us to design and manufacture all our products while performing production tests in any of our five in-house test towers. The Research & Development Department is continually developing new models of elevators, lifts, platforms, and stairlifts.
