7. Installation Construction Pre-install preparation: 6# and 10# Allen wrenches, screwdriver, special socket wrench, large monkey wrench etc. auxiliary material like light post fender Keep the surface of the lamp clean as the lamp and its accessories were sprayed. Avoid heating the solar panel and scraping its surface as the solar panel is the most important component of lamp. 7.1 Lamp Assembly 1 Place the solar panel flat, and put a 40 cm height pad (EPE sponge) on the lower part of the post ( B section ), make the upper part of lamp ( A part ) turn up, as shown in Figure 3. B section A part Figure 3 EPE sponge 2 Put the larger silicone sealed gasket on the upper end of the lamp cover (the lower end has print), as shown in Figure 4. Silicon Silkscreen LOGO Lamp cover Figure 4 6
3 Put the lamp cover main light source component and reflected light component on A section of lamppost by sequence as shown in Figure 5. Main light source component Reflected light Lamp A section of lamppost Figure 5 4 Lead the light source connection wire through the hole in A section, as shown in Figure 5, with attention to the following: Light source connection wire should lead out from the square hole and then lead out through flange plate of reflected and main light source component hole by sequence. Lead the larger waterproof plug first and then lead the smaller waterproof plug. Lead the three wires out from the center hole of reflected light component, as shown in Figure 6. Reflected light source Main light source Round hole Square hole Figure 6 7
5 6 7 After threading the wires, put the lamp cover, main light source component, reflected light component together and ensure the lower of lamp cover insert in the flange position slot as shown in Figure 7. Put the reflected light component on the M12 bolt of lamppost top flange as shown in Figure 8. Adjust the position of lamp cover by making the silkscreen LOGO parallel the lamppost base. Controller Battery component M5cross pan head bolt Figure 11 Controller lead wires are defined as follows: Ⅰ: SOLAR PANEL(2 core wire) Ⅱ: BATTERY(2 core wire) Ⅲ: MAIN LIGHT(2 core wire) Ⅳ: SECONDARY LIGHT(4 core wire) I II III V Ⅴ: CONTROLER(5 core wire) IV Figure 12 11 Connect the controller waterproof plug with solar panel, auxiliary light, battery, main light, remote controller wire joint by sequence. Notice: ensure the wire joints are connected correctly according the label on the wire. 10
12 13 Connect the solar panel connect wire and controller connect wire. Put the solar panel on the reflected light cover well, avoid leaving any gaps, and adjust the lock hole and then lock with 12pcs M4 cross-pan bolt, as shown in Figure 13. M4*12bolt Solar panel component Figure 13 Note: Remove the practical film of solar panel in case of decrease in the degeneration of the solar panel. The lamp structure part assembly is complete. Check if the lamp works normally before standing it. 7.2 Foundation Construction The following steps should be completed 5 days before installation: Pre-install preparation: transparent tape, hoe, level ruler, shovel etc. Transparent tape Lamp holder cage Figure 14 11
1 Swap the upper of four screw stands to avoid staining concrete as shown in Figure 14. 2 Drill a 2.7 x 2.7 x 3.93 pit where lamp will go. 3 As shown in Figure 15, put lamp fixed holder in the center of the hole, and measure the position and height to ensure the height of concrete pouring, and that the side edge is parallel to the road. 4 Pour concrete into the pit, reserving 10 cm space, as shown in Figure 15. Figure 15 Figure 16 5 6 Remove the transparent type from lamp fixed holder. Put a nut on each of the four screw studs and then put on the horizontal plate. 12
7 8 Measure the levelness with the level bar, by adjusting the nut height, and make the underside of the horizontal plate parallel to the floor surface, as shown in Figure 16. Remove horizontal plate, level bar and other tools when adjustments are complete. 7.3 Lamp Installation Prepare wrench before installation. Ensure passengers safety when standing the lamp. Confirm the direction of lamp before installation. road Figure 17 1 Align the four holes and install the lamp on lamp fixed holder as shown in Figure 18. 13

8. Notice As solar LED street light is power by sunshine, it is better to be installed in places with sufficient sunshine. If tree shade or buildings block the sunshine, it is recommended to reduce the light power accordingly in case light automatically turned off because of lacking in solar which will bring negative effect to light service life in the long run. Solar panel is fragile. Avoid hitting or touching with sharp objects. Do not remove or replace controller by yourself. Any problem, please contact manufacturer for confirmation and replacement. 9. Light Source Power and Adjustment Methods Be sure to account for longitude and latitude differences, seasonal and climatic differences, light direction and specific environmental factors in installation area, as these will affect actual solar power generation capacity for the lamp. To ensure the optimal performance and lifespan of each lamp, the following adjustments should be made after installation: Adjust to the higher value in the following situations: low latitude, summer, mostly sunny day, open-sided, mounting orientation (facing south in the northern hemisphere or north in the southern hemisphere). Adjust to the lower value in the following situations: high latitude, winter, mostly cloudy/rainy day, sheltered environment, mounting orientation (facing north in the northern hemisphere or south in the southern hemisphere or east-west facing). The adjustments above should be on a range which is based on the factory settings of 60% brightness. 16
