Metal-Seat Bubble-Tight Butterfly Valve 0/0Q Most reliable double-offset, metal-seated high performance butterfly valves suitable for high temperature, high pressure, and high velocity service. 0Y/0Y 7Y/ 0MHLV T/T 77ZNV-Z 7/7 7X/7X 70G/7F/70F 7 Bubble tight metal seat design Most metal seated butterfly valves allow quite a large amount of leakage under actual service conditions due to the simple design of the seat ring, even though various factory inspection can be passed in tems of ambient water and air. 7Y and can offer a low leakage rate of 0Nm /Min/inch to 0.0%CV even under actual working conditions (high temp. etc.) by employing a uniquely designed double ring resilient seat with coil spring. Double offset design The double offset disc design minimizes seatring stress, the spherical sealing surface of the disc fits precisely into the resilient metal seatring, which provides longer service life. Sealing principles The disc and seatring have spherical contacting surfaces. ll points on the circles of the disc and seatring make contact on a single plane simultaneously. This increases the sealing capability to a bubble tight level even under high pressure. The double seatring incorporates a coil spring to maintain positive sealing, which can expansion or contraction of the disc or valve body due to pressure or temperature changes. Wider temperature range 7Y and types can be used from minus degrees C to plus 00 degrees C subject to the pressure temperature rating chart with or without special bonnet arrangements. No conventional RTFE seated high performance butterfly valves will work at over degrees C. Easy maintenance 7Y and types have a very simple design, with compact and light. The sealing parts can be easily repaired by removing the seat retainer and replacing the seat ring, without special tool. Low torque In addition to the effect of the double offset design, a self lubricating shaft bearing produces lower torque and smooth operation, which results in cost savings when selecting an actuator. Bidirectional design lthough there is a preferred flow direction, bidirectional use is possible depending on working conditions. Fire proof construction s no rubber or TFE parts are employed as metal seated valves, 7Y and types would never loose their sealing members during a fire. TFE seat TFE seat version is available as Y although its working temperature is limited to degrees C and subject to working conditions.
