GRABS ENT.RA. manufactures a wide range of grabs for foundation works designed to meet challenging job site requirements: BDM series mechanical grabs for diaphragm wall excavations, ranging from 5 to 15 tons weight BDR series mechanical grabs for heavy soil formations, weighting from 7 to 20 tons BPM series specially made to be used inside casings and with the capability to be used as hammer grabs BDH series fully hydraulic grabs suitable for applications to hydraulic cranes or with separate power packs Grabs can be supplied with rectangular or semi-circular jaws and guides interchangeable on a base grab body High tensile steel, hard cased pins and rollers are standard supply. BDH520 Hydraulic Grabs BDH series are hydraulically operated grab specially designed to work with base crawler cranes. The main frame of the grab can be fitted with interchangeable guides and jaws from 500 to 1200 mm thickness with opening width from 2000 to 3500 mm. The units can be equipped with single cylinder or double hydraulic cylinders with control piston rods to synchronize the jaws opening/closing operations. Interchangeable guides and jaws for various excavation dimensions are available. Jaws can be provided in rectangular or semi-circular sections.

CASING OSCILLATORS manufactures two series of hydraulic casing oscillators: GA-C GA-S Hydraulic casing oscillators short type to be attached to a base piling rig Hydraulic casing oscillators long type to be attached to a base crane with the option to be operated by a separate power pack casing oscillators are provided with a clamp assembly made of 5 articulated segments, 2 synchronized oscillating rams with the possibility to operate automatically, a mobile carriage with hydraulic ram for centring the position of the clamp assembly at the front. The units are complete with remote control panel, hydraulic and electric systems. A casing verticality control is an optional supply

GA-C Casing Oscillators GA-C casing oscillator series are designed to work in conjunction with rotary rigs or hydraulic cranes. The clamp assembly is made of 5 articulated segments, constructed to provide appropriate tolerance and grip on the casing tube. The two oscillator rams are designed to produce a synchronized alternate rotating movement of the clamp assembly, their motion being automatically reversed by two end/of/travel switches. The mobile carriage is provided with a hydraulic ram, together with its hydraulic supply hoses, or centring and adjusting the position of the clamp assembly at the front. A special hydraulic circuit allows free movement of the telescopic stabilizer during other operation of the equipment. A brake assembly composed of 4 articulated segments complete of hydraulic ram. Hydraulic plant for the supply of hydraulic oil, at pressure, to the hydraulic rams either by means of the hydraulic system of a crane. Electric plant to supply the necessary power, from the hydraulic power pack or other power source, to the electro-hydraulic distributors, end/of/travel switches and remote control panel is provided. A 24 volts supply is required. A control device to control the verticality of the casing tube during the insertion phase can be supplied upon request.

GA-S Casing Oscillators Casing oscillator GA/S series are designed for deep casing driving, when a proper equipment weight, considerable torque and a wide angle of oscillation are required. GA/S units are driven by a hydraulic power pack when attached to a crawler crane as base rig or driven by the main hydraulic system of a large size piling machine. GA/S clamp assembly is made of 5 articulated segments, manufactured to provide proper grip on the casing tube. The unit is equipped with two oscillator rams developing a synchronized alternate rotating movement of the clamp assembly and their motion can be automatically reversed by two end/of/travel switches. The mobile carriage is fitted with a hydraulic ram for centring and adjusting the position of the clamp assembly at the front. A special hydraulic circuit allows free movement of the telescopic stabilizer during other operation of the equipment. A brake assembly composed of 4 articulated segments complete of hydraulic ram is installed. Hydraulic system for the supply of hydraulic oil to the rams is provided. Electric System to supply the necessary electric power for circuits is installed on board. A 24 volts supply is required from the hydraulic power pack or other power source, to the electro-hydraulic distributors, end/of/travel switches and remote control panel. An inclination of ± 5 left/right can be applied and controlled by transducers and visually monitored by a display mounted on the remote control panel. A verticality control device with monitors to control of the casing tube verticality during the insertion operations can be supplied upon request. The unit is supplied with wired remote control panel for main operations. On board distributors can be also manually operated for troubleshooting.

The units are fitted with water cooled diesel engine, hydraulic system, hydraulic pumps to feed the casing oscillator circuits, hydraulic oil cooler, electric system and all the other required parts and components. CASINGS Casing pipes to be used with hydraulic casing oscillator are made of high quality carbon steel in accordance with UNI EN 10025 grade S355JR. Parts are made by means of numeric control late machineries and assembled by highly specialized welders and technicians. Casing pipes are supplied with double wall steel pipes and joints for a better cased pile verticality and easy excavation inside the pile by drilling tools. For large size diameters, single wall cased pipes are also available, with bottom casings applied with cutting shoes always double walled. Casing pipes can be provided with additional tools and accessories, such as: Adapter to connect the casing to a piling rig rotary table A casing funnel as protection for the casing joint and for making insertion of the drilling tools easy; A lifting head for quick assembly and dismantling of the casings without damaging the conical rings.

HPE STOP-END PIPES EXTRACTORS HPE Hydraulic extractors have been designed for the extraction of stop end pipes from diaphragm wall foundation to 50/60 meters depth. The clamp assembly is made of 3 articulated segments, manufactured to provide appropriate tolerance and grip on the casing tube. The unit is provided of a brake assembly composed of 4 mechanical wedges. Hydraulic plant for the supply of hydraulic oil to the hydraulic rams from a power pack is installed.
