Track Safety Standards Guidelines E-00110-002 Engineering This course provides instruction and questions on the Track Safety Standards (49 CFR 213), as mandated by the FRA from the Code of Federal Regulations. The trainee will learn to recognize the various types of track defects that may be observed during a track inspection, and become familiar with the steps taken to accurately measure those defects. Once the defects have been detected and measured, the trainee will also learn the requirements for reporting defects and the remedial actions that must be taken.
