Installing a polycarbonate manhole 1 All frame elements and base plates are made from high-quality polycarbonate and are lightweight. They are supplied in installation-friendly assembly order. Put down a layer of gravel and compact it. 2 Example with existing cable route: 3 Lay the base plate under the existing pipe. 4 Place the frame components on the base plate, one on top of the other. The frame elements can be laid on top of existing pipe routes without any issues. 11
Fix the frame and base plate together with double dowels. 5 6 Additional pipes can be easily inserted into the manhole via predefined break points. 7 Put in place the top frame and steel frame ready to support the manhole covers. 8 Put the covers in place using cover lifters. 12
Backfilling: Fill the trench in layers, and compact. 9 10 Adjust the height if required. Fill the construction joints with mortar. 11 Superstructure construction according to ZTVA-StB 09 (Supplementary Technical Conditions of Contract, Specifications, and Guidelines, Asphalt Roads). 12 Done! 13
