Manometers A differential pressure gauge is placed across the filter or fan section to monitor the differential pressure. This is a simple and quick way to get an overview when you are at the air handling unit. We have three versions: Magnehelic manometer, inclined manometer and u-tube manometer. The magnehelic manometer is the most precise.

Magnehelic manometer (Item number 90783705) The magnehelic manometer provides a quick and precise Installed on Geniox measurement of the difference in pressure. The differential pressure gauge is used for measurement above filters and fans. It indicates a differential pressure with an accuracy of 1% and can be applied in various ranges of measurement. The magnehelic manometer has a frictionless detection system which quickly indicates the differential pressure. The manometer is designed to withstand impacts, vibrations and significant gauge pressure. The range of measurement is 0-500 Pa. Operating temperature -6 to +60 C. IP 67. Inclined manometer (Item number 90783704) A simple, visual tool that is easy to read. It will often be necessary to have a filter alarm and visual presentation of the differential pressure by the filters. The manometer measures in Pa and is designed in plastic. Silicone hoses are included. The weight is 560 g. Liquid for filling is included. The range of measurement is 0-600 Pa. Operating temperature -20 to +60 C. IP 54. Installed on Geniox U-tube manometer (Item number 90783701) This u-tube manometer is also used to measure differential pressure. This is a simple and visual tool. It may be low-tech, but it works and is very reliable. The u-tube manometer is designed as a polycarbonate tube placed in a round aluminium container with sealed bottom. There are two holes in the back for fastening. The scale is in brushed aluminium with blue numbers and divisional lines. The range of measurement is 0-500 Pa. Installed on Geniox systemair 7

Filter guards To maintain a good air quality and to avoid pressure drops, it is essential that you change the filters in time. You can choose a filter guard to monitor the filters, if you choose an air handling unit without control system. Filter guard (Item number 90812006) A simple, mechanical pressure guard. It is easy to set and issues an error signal, if the pressure exceeds the set level. The signal is on/off without any graphs. It is not ideal for VAV operation, as the setting does not allow for variable air volume. 8 systemair

Volumeters The volumeter provides you with a quick and simple measurement of the air flow. It is placed over the fan section and is available in a mechanical or digital version. Volumeter (Item number 90730352) Display for measurement of air flow. It provides you with quick and precise information about the airflow. Installed on Geniox Digital volumeter (Item number 90811980) The DPT-Flow pressure transmitter can either provide a pressure or an air volume read out from the fan. The K-value of the fan, has to be setup in the DPT-Flow, for an air flow read out. Pressure, air flow read out scale and measuring units can be adjusted. DPT-Flow is also equipped with terminals for an analogue air flow or pressure output signal. The DPT-Flow pressure transmitter is mounted on the inspection side of the fan section. Supply voltage: 24V AC. Output signal: 0-10 V DC or 4-20 ma. IP 54. systemair 9

Pressure outlet tap Gain an overview of the most common ways to measure pressure difference and air flow over the fan. Pressure outlet tap Select this option, if you would like to measure the pressure increase over the fan. One of the tabs is connected to the chamber in front of the fan. The other is connected to the chamber after the fan. You can connect a manometer to the pressure outlet taps to measure the pressure difference. One of the taps is connected to the chamber in front of the fan. The other tap is connected to the fan inlet cone. To output the air volume, you need to connect a volumeter with the correct K-factor scale or a digital volumeter. Stainless steel base and droplet eliminator Stainless steel base The stainless steel base is applied to protect the bottom at the filters and dampers. You should select this, if there is a risk that the aluzinc standard bottom plate corrodes. The base is separated from other metals with polycarbonate to protect against galvanic corrosion. Stainless steel base (filter only) Stainless steel base (filter + damper) Droplet eliminator If there are droplets in the airflow, SystemairCAD will automatically select a droplet eliminator by the humidifier. However, in some cases, it is relevant to select or deselect it. The margin for automatic selection is only one degree, so in some cases it is relevant to consider. It can also be chosen by the run around coil heat exchanger, cooling coil, change-over coil and integrated reversible heat pump. systemair 11

Water trap The water trap ensures that condensation is also drained, if a negative/positive pressure arises. The water trap is used for the drip trays in the air handling unit, for example for plate heat exchangers, run-around coil heat exchangers and cooling coils. Water trap (Item number 90856209) It is important to use a water trap for drainage from the air handling unit. The ball inside the water trap ensures that there is no evaporation, if there is no condensation. If the water trap is fitted on the negative pressure side, it protects against any leakage to the outside. The water trap is designed in white PP/ABS plastic. The connection is ø 40 mm, and the ball is included. The height, H, depends on the pressure loss. It is essential that the closing height is correct for the best function. Inspection window and light With an inspection window and light you can monitor the air handling unit during operation. Light is essential to the safety in large air handling units where you need to go inside the sections. Inspection window (Item number 90655072) The inspection window has been designed specifically for Systemair. It gives you the possibility to inspect a large area. In combination with light inside the section, you can monitor and inspect the individual functions. Internal measurements: 165 x 243 mm. Inspection light (Item number 90807200) Light is essential, if you would like to inspect each section s functions. For large air handling units where you need to go inside, it is also an essential safety factor. If the air handling unit is delivered with control system or Controller Ready, an LED light, 24V, is used. (Item number 90801407) (Item number 90807200) If the air handling unit is delivered without control system, an LED light, type GX53 with 230V socket, is used. (Light: item number 90801407, socket: item number 90801405). Both lights are very flat and therefore well-suited for fitting inside an air handling unit. Both are also cost-saving lights. The lights are supplied with switches fitted externally on the air handling unit, both for indoor and outdoor use. Indoor (Item number 90801410) Outdoor (Item number 90801411) systemair 13

Valve actuator, 2- and 3-way control valve For water heating and cooling coils you can choose a valve actuator and 2- or 3-way control valve for the air handling unit. This ensures that everything has the right measurements and is in place for a quick and correct installation. Cable entry, sensors and taps If you select an air handling unit without control system, it may be an advantage to select cable entries or taps for various sensors. This will make the installation much easier. Cable entry 3-5 mm (item number 90812079) Cable entry 5-7 mm (item number 90812080) Cable entry 7-10 mm (item number 90812081) Cable entry 10-14 mm (item number 90812082) Cable entry 14-20 mm (item number 90812083) Cable entry 20-26 mm (item number 90812084) Cable entry 26-35 mm (item number 90812085) Installed on Geniox Tap for frost guard (Item number 90710001) Used for temperature sensor for frost protection. The tap leads the connection for the insert sensor through the side plate. With the tap the insert sensor can be installed and serviced from the outside of the air handling unit. Tap for frost protection is also used for run-around coil heat exchangers. Pressure outlet tap (Item number 90812041) If you have chosen your Geniox air handling unit without control system, we recommend fitting these outlet taps. The taps give you the possibility to measure the pressure loss with your own device. systemair 15

Damper motors We use 4 types of damper motors for our dampers. This could be isolation dampers for supply air, exhaust air, extract air or outside air. The dampers can also be applied as mixing dampers or for recirculation. The damper motors are available as on/off or modulating, with or without spring-return. Damper motor, on/off SM24A Damper motor for turning dampers in Geniox air handling unit. Control: On/off (l-conductor) Connection: 3 x 0,75 mm 2 Weight: App. 1 kg Size: 180 x 56 mm Simple direct fitting on the damper shaft with universal adapter sleeve, fastened with the enclosed mounting bracket. Gear disengagement with self-returning push button. When the button is pushed in, the gear is disengaged. Adaptable torsion angle with mechanical impact. The motor is secured against overload. It does not require stop end switches, it stops automatically upon impact. Damper motor, on/off with spring-return SF24A Spring-return motor with safety function for turning dampers in Geniox air handling unit. Control: On/off Connection: 2 x 0,75 mm 2 Weight: App. 1,7 kg Size: 236 x 85 mm When voltage is connected, the motor turns the dampers and tensions the built-in spring. When the voltage is disconnected, the spring returns the damper to the safety position. Simple direct fitting on the damper shaft with universal adapter sleeve, fastened with the enclosed mounting bracket. It is possible to manually operate the motor with the enclosed key. The damper can be locked in an optional position by the selector switch on the front. Disengagement can be done by the selector switch or connection of voltage. Adaptable torsion angle with mechanical impact. The motor is secured against overload. It does not require stop end switches, it stops automatically upon impact. 16 systemair

Damper motor, modulating SM24A-SR Modulating motor for turning dampers in Geniox air handling unit. Modulating DC 2-10V Position signal DC 2-10V Connection: 3 x 0,75 mm 2 Weight: App. 1,05 kg Size: 180 x 56 mm The motor is controlled by a control signal DC 2-10V and turns to the position that corresponds to the position signal. Measuring voltage U is used for electronic display of the damper position 0-100% and as control signal for other motors. Simple direct fitting on the damper shaft with universal adapter sleeve, fastened with the enclosed mounting bracket. Gear disengagement with selfreturning push button. When the button is pushed in, the gear is disengaged. Adaptable torsion angle with mechanical impact. The motor is secured against overload. It does not require stop end switches, it stops automatically upon impact. Damper motor, modulating with spring-return SF24A-SR Modulating spring-return motor with safety function for turning dampers in Geniox air handling unit. Modulating DC 2-10V Position signal DC 2-10V Connection: 3 x 0,75 mm 2 Weight: App. 1,7 kg Size: 236 x 85 mm The motor is controlled by a control signal DC 2-10V (operating area 2-10V) and turns to the position that corresponds to the position signal. At the same time, the spring is tensioned. When the voltage is disconnected, the spring returns the damper to the safety position. Simple direct fitting on the damper shaft with universal adapter sleeve. The motor is fastened to the back with the enclosed mounting bracket. It is possible to manually operate the motor with the enclosed key. The damper can be locked in an optional position by the selector switch on the front. Spare filters You can choose between 3 types of filters for your Geniox air handling unit: Panel filters, bag filters and metal filters. Your choice of filter depends on the job. The higher the filter class you choose, the more/smaller particles are filtrated. On the other hand, they need to be replaced more often and may result in a higher pressure loss. Synthetic material, panel filters Coarse 65% (G4) Glass fibre material, bag filter epm10 60% (M5) epm2.5 50% (M6) epm1 60% (F7) epm1 75% (F8) epm1 85% (F9) Glass fibre and broad spectrum carbon media, bag filter CITY-FLO epm1 60% (F7 City-Flo). To ensure continuous operation without stop, it is always a good idea to have a set of spare filters at hand. If you do not, you run the risk of the filters being removed in order to buy new matching filters. You can choose between panel filters and bag filters. Panel filters are pleated and designed in synthetic polyester fibres. The frame is made of cardboard. Bag filters are designed in glass fibre material. The filter frame is made of plastic and the filter is sealed between the filter cells with rubber sealing strips. You can also get CamMet metal filters to use as e.g. prefilters to collect fat from a cooker hood. The filter cells are designed in aluminium thread. The filter is class G2 and washable. The filter can be cleaned with a water pressure cleaner. The frame is made of aluminium. The thickness is 40 mm. 18 systemair
