It also includes a seat for user comfort and convenience. The Migo is ideal for indoor and outdoor use, and has a 30kg (20 stone) weight capacity. It is intended to be lightweight and portable whilst offering stability and security to the user. All Drive Medical walkers are manufactured to the highest quality standards and are CE marked. They provide a robust and visually appealing product whilst being a costeffective solution to some mobility problems. The Migo comes with basket, tray and owner s handbook. It does not cover accidental damage or wear and tear. Some consumable items (such as tyres, brake cables) and paintwork are not covered by a 2 month warranty. Installation Height adjustable handgrips To Unfold 2 Insert the handgrip tubing into the frame to at least to the Maximum marking. Turn the adjustment knob clockwise on both handgrips. Ensure both handgrips are the same height. To adjust the height, turn the adjustment knob anticlockwise to slacken. Adjust the handgrip to required height then turn the knob clockwise to secure. Stand the rollator on its wheels. Push the front frame forward by pushing down on the handgrips whilst pulling backwards until the rollator stands unaided. Then push the seat down until it clicks into place on the crossbar. Do not stand on the rollator. The rollator is not suitable for use as wheelchair, and should only be used by one person at a time. Fitting the Basket and Tray Hook in the basket on to the hooks at the frame under the seat plate and place the tray with its small feet in the holes in the seat plate (see picture). Cleaning and Maintenance Clean regularly by hand with a damp cloth Do not use any abrasive or corrosive detergents Screws and fasteners must be checked regularly and if necessary retightened. Technical Data Operating the Brakes To apply the brake squeeze the lever towards the handgrip (see picture). Always brake slowly and steady, and use both left and right brakes simultaneously. To apply the parking brakes, press the brake lever down (see picture) until it locks the wheels. To unlock the brake pull upwards on the lever towards the handgrip. Always use both brakes. Sitting Position the walking device on an even and solid surface. Then lock the brakes (parking position). The rollator must stand and must not slip. Sit straight up and do not lean backwards (see picture). Braking performance can change as the brake cable and tyre become worn in. Always check the brakes prior to use. Brake Adjustment Folding / Transport / Storage 2 3 Pull the seat upwards with the handle. The rollator can be lifted or trailed by the seat handle. Safety Instructions For desired braking strength manually adjust the screw on the housing of the brake (picture ) or adjust using a suitable tool (not included) on the brake cable (picture 2). 6/2 Use only as an aid for walking. Use only on even and solid surfaces. Maximum weight limit (user mass) is 30kg (20 stone). Only use the tray for small objects (not exceeding 5kg / lb in total).
