MEASURE R HIGHWAY PROGRAM Measure R: 2008 LA County ½ cent sales tax for transportation improvements. South Bay sub-region to receive $906M over 30 years in addition to Measure R-Local return funds. Torrance previously completed 2 projects from MR-HP for a total value of $1M. Torrance has 6 active projects funded from MR-HP for a total value of $130M. MR-HP will provide funds for additional projects in Torrance through 2038. 19
