The frame members are all cut, roll straightened, and stress relieved prior to any welding so that all the components are of the highest quality. This assures that machined tolerances remain stable throughout the life of the machine. All the ADR model machines are machined in one handling on large bridge style CNC mills to assure exact tolerances.
STANDARD FEATURES Welded, mono block steel frame for minimum deflection under load Y1 Y2 Dual cylinder down stroking machine with +/-.0004 repeatability One piece forged cylinders precision machined and honed for high accuracy Cylinders are keyed interlocked and bolted to side frame for zero backlash Bed referenced, precision linear scales assure accurate ram position measurement with repeatability of +/-.0004 Frame Deflection is virtually eliminated due to Mounted Linear Encoders to ensure frame deflection does not affect Ram position accuracy. Cartridge valves are mounted in a single, steel manifold block to reduce heat and wear. The simplicity and reduction of pipe connections minimize leaks Full flow, full pressure in-line filter attached to pump ensures optimum oil cleanliness and trouble free operation of all hydraulic components Full flow, full pressure in-line filter attached to pump ensures optimum oil cleanliness and trouble free operation of all hydraulic components Electrically interlocked, swing away side guards Electrically interlocked, rear swinging door prevents access to back area American/European top tool holders with side to side adjustable wedges Wired electrical box with ventilation DURMA DT10 CNC Control (Standard), (Optional) DELEM and CYBELEC Controls available on request. 25 inch X Axis, High Torque AC Motor ballscrew back gauge with two finger assemblies Y1, Y2 and X Axis are standard Set of heavy duty flip finger assembles Set of front support arms, mounted on a EASY GLIDE linear guide, running the entire bed length. Flip stops (2) are provided for front gauging Floor stand with foot pedal, E stop and UP Button Manual Crowning
CNC CONTROL SYSTEM The DURMA DT10 CNC control is mounted on a precision-machined swing away pendant arm. This control is user friendly and easy to program. The fill in the blank format makes even the most inexperienced operator proficient in a matter of hours. The control has the capability of up to 4 axes. Some key features are as follows: 10" TFT Widescreen CNC Control LED Backlight Automatic tonnage calculation and pressure regulation Stock Count up to 9999, Step Repetition up to 99, Inch/MM Simple page for gaining access to quick and easy programming Control functions for axes of Y1, Y2, and X axis Automatic correction database Teach Mode on all Axes Save as 7 digit program number and or 20 character name Programmable axis speed per step Program 30 punches and 30 dies 1 USB port for information backup BACKGAUGE SYSTEM The ADR series of brakes come with an exceptional quality backgauge, manufactured out of formed plate steel and heavy section tubular steel. The dual, back gauge drives are mounted directly to the side frames for rigid stability and are driven by (1) one, High torque, AC motor. A geared belt provides a smooth, quite transmission of power to each of the (2) two precision ball screws and are guided by linear bearings. A set of heavy duty flip finger assembly s ride smoothly along the gauge bar via a precision, linear bearing. Vertical, up/down finger movement is manual. Micro adjustment (in/out.) of each finger is also provided. The specifications of the backgauge are as follows: X Axis (CNC) Travel Speed of Travel Positioning Accuracy 25.5 inches (650mm) 19.61 per second +/-.0004
RAM OF THE MACHINE The ram of the ADR Series is equipped with American/European style tool holders with adjustment wedges to ensure perfect mating of the punch tips when sectionalized tooling is being used. The flexibility of this type of tool holders provides you the ultimate in tool style availability and allows for deep box bending. BED OF THE MACHINE The bed of the ADR series brakes are equipped with a two heavy duty front support arms, on linear rails for full movement right to left at the front of the machine. This provides the operator support during the bending operation. TOOLING Due to the varying options for tooling and clamping systems available today tooling is quoted as optional and is found in the optional pricing section of this quote. HYDRAULICS With one of the largest capacity hydraulic tanks DURMA ensures the hydraulic oil stays as cool as possible. High capacity pre-fill valves are mounted directly to the top of each hydraulic cylinder. When actuated, oil is drawn out the oil tank by the weight of the ram pulling down on the piston rods. This increases speed, reduces electrical consumption, and minimizes the generation of heat. Cartridge valves mounted in a single steel manifold block also reduce heat and maintenance issues. This hydraulic design is for ease of service, maintaining reliability, and reducing downtime. The cylinder construction consists the highest quality seals for increased reliability and it is important to note that all cylinders and pistons are manufactured in the DURMA factory to the most stringent tolerances and to ensure maximum tonnage for years to come. SAFETY DURMA press brakes conform to all current ANSI national codes. They are accredited with ISO 9001 certification and all products are CE certified and CSA Z142-10 Compliant. Regardless, it is the ultimate responsibility of the employer to assess the safety needs and requirements of his or her own equipment as it relates to press usage and local safety codes. All ADR series machines come fully equipped with a footswitch console. This includes a footswitch, up button and an emergency stop button. The machine comes equipped with electrically interlocked side and rear guards for optimum protection and a FIESSLER laser beam light guard system. ELECTRICAL The electrical box has ventilation for prevention of heat build up. All motor drives, PLC s, Motor controls, Fuses, Main electrical disconnect, etc, are located in a spacious enclosure. All electrical schematics are an exact match to what is in the enclosure to make troubleshooting a breeze. The machine will be wired for 220/3/60 or 575/3/60. Electrics are CSA Approved by Authorized Agency.
