Implementation of the Road Infrastructure and Safety Project (RISP) has progressed well since the last full implementation support mission in October 2010. As of March 14, 2011, 81 percent of the total IDA credit funds have been disbursed, up from 58 percent since the end of the October mission. The FY11 disbursement ratio is currently 62 percent, reflecting good progress in implementing the road and bridge rehabilitation component. Page 1 of 6
Road and bridge rehabilitation. In the Federation, the 92 km have been completed out of the total 142.45 km in the project, while in the Republika Srpska, 124 km have been rehabilitated. The intermediate outcome indicator of 120 km of road rehabilitation in each entity has already been met in the RS. Road safety technical assistance. The FRD signed a contract with the Swedish consulting firm SweRoad on November 29, 2010, for a one year technical assistance consultancy. The RS has issued the Request for Proposals in March 2011 and contract signature is expected by end April 2011 at the earliest.
