Powerful and Environmentally Friendly Low consumption ecot3 engine The Komatsu SAA6D107E-1 engine provides high torque, a better performance at low speed and low fuel consumption. This ecot3 engine features a new combustion chamber design with optimised ignition and combustion timing. The operating pressure of the new common rail system was increased for improved injection and fuel efficiency. The air-to-air charge cooler reduces the temperature of the compressed air supplied by the turbo charger to the cylinders, and further improves fuel consumption.
