Special shelving features Ask us! Our fittings planners and technicians will be pleased to offer you advice and design an individual solution for your needs, based on Employee Liability Insurance Association guidelines for workplaces, storage systems and devices, and on safety-tested shelving designs with quality certificate. 160
Shelving lighting systems System components are available for shelving system lighting using individual or continuous luminaires, with and without reflectors, with different lampholders, luminaire designs and covers all individually coordinated to the design and finish of the different shelving systems. The shelving luminaires comply with safety provisions and VDE regulations. Ladder systems For ladder guidance, shelving in heights above 2400 mm is fitted with additional reinforcements to prevent tilting. Mobile ladders or suspended ladder types can be used. Shelving with doors Depending on preference, shelving can be equipped with doors made of wood, perforated sheet steel or safety glass, with or without locks. Display cabinets can also be used. Double deck shelving systems ekz shelving systems are suitable for fitting two-storey shelving installations. The enhanced static and safety requirements are taken into account right from the planning stage. Particular attention is also paid to the design of staircases, intermediate ceilings, banisters and lighting. For double deck configurations, it is expedient to connect the shelving system to the building structure. 161
