For safety reasons, proportionality works in both directions: uphill and downhill. As for speed of operation, the 4 functions can be activated simultaneously thanks to the ergonomic grip. The swivel, arm and head obey both fingers and eyes: so work is accurate. They do not move if they are not guided. To reduce the down time spent changing the head, the is equipped with a semi-automatic tool changing system 1. The head geometry has been designed to eliminate bottlenecks: work output is optimal. For better rolling, the sensor roller is equipped with removable end-pieces and has a large diameter tube (140 mm). Access and working in narrow ditches is possible because the height of the transmission casing is the same as that of the body. The head of models EP 5782 SPA and EP 6182 SPA consists of a mechanical piniondriven transmission.
