1. General characteristics New totally clampable CHRONO 10040 pivoting window system based on the CHRONO turn and tilt technology. All parts are made of non-croding materials. The minimum vent height (f hizontal pivoting windows) the minimum vent width (f vertical pivoting windows) is section related. The minimum vent height minimum vent width must be checked to select the crect perimeter locking set, based on the sections used. The base sets are operated by series 502 and 5020 handles. Handles are not included in the base set. Perimeter locking sets are suitable f series 2600 and 490 pivots. Pivots are not included in the base set. The system can be used f hizontal and vertical pivoting windows. The base set is drawn with left hand handle: see page A.10.03. If you use a right hand handle you have to assemble the base set mirr image. Very quick assembly by means of: new revolutionary rod connection system; special connections between the different components; connection piece is clipped over the fk of the handle; clamping wedges positioned with jigs; preassembled components and screws; easy access to fixing and adjustment screws. The standard type is left hand. A left hand handle is turned to the left to open the window. When dering please indicate the number of left hand and right hand handles. The fks are in steel zinc plated. Finish: grip and base in aluminium anodised polyester powder coated (me than 450 RAL colours). The handles n 502-8 and n 5020-8 turn 180, all the others turn 150. 9. General infmation The Chrono 10040 centre locking sets can be used within the Fh/Fb sizes and weight limitations indicated on the chart below. The sets are made of non-croding materials. The set should not be installed in crosive atmospheres. Sobinco cannot be held responsible f the malfunctioning of the centre locking set if any non-sobinco parts are used. The surface treatment of vent and frame must take place befe assembly of the set, as this will affect the wking of the gear. All parts must be assembled accding to the instructions as described in previous pages. Glazing must be in accdance with national standards. The window and gear should be kept clean and lubricated in accdance with our maintenance instructions (copy available on request).
