In the de-energized condition, the control spool (3) is held in the centrl position or in the initil position y the return springs (4) (except for impulse spools). he control spool (3) is ctuted y wet-pin solenoids in hydrulic fluid (2). o ensure proper functioning, mke sure tht the pressure chmer of the solenoid is filled with hydrulic fluid. he force of solenoid (2) cts vi plunger (5) on control spool (3) nd pushes the ltter from its rest position to the required end position. his enles the necessry direction of flow from nd or nd. fter de-excittion of the solenoid (2), the return spring (4) pushes the control spool (3) ck to its rest position. mnul override (6) llows control spool (3) to e moved without solenoid energiztion. In the de-energized condition, there is no defined spool position.
