This line allows BIGLIA to achieve higher goals of productivity, accuracy and reliability. BIGLIA new built-in spindles featuring higher spindle rotation and axis rapid traverse rate. rugged bed designed for higher heat stability, the thermal stabilisation of the main heat sources and the higher resolution of the servo commands. to the new fast indexing (0.1 sec) and sturdy BIGLIA servo-turret, the high capability of chip removal in turn and mill operations enabled by the new powerful motors. Available in five versions, the B6/ B658 line provides a wide spectrum of machining possibilities ranging from universal turning to complete second spindle, rotary tools, spindle C-axis and Y-axis. Combined turn and mill operations at high power. Rotary tools, C-axis and Y-axis The M model is equipped with a servo turret and C-axis allowing turn and mill operations. The rotary tools are driven by a motor with Nm torque 7 rpm. The Y model equipped with C and Y axis combines in a single machine turning and milling capability of a 4 axis machining center thus enabling flat milling with high surface finish and perfect flatness as well as radial offcentre drilling and tapping. Y-axis travel is achieved by the simultaneous movement of the two independent slides. Fast and rigid BIGLIA 12-station servo-turret. Live tooling The turret can accept the same toolholders to machine parts both from the main and sub-spindle. The static toolholders and the rotary tools assure exceptional rigidity and positioning accuracy. Increased productivity. more powerful to enhance productivity and perform the complete machining with higher accuracy. The second spindle is equipped with B-axis load detection system and perform safe machining operations. 8-9

(option) The tool tip is brought into contact with the probe and the tool offset value is automatically stored into relevant table of the CNC control. (option) It includes the automatic parts-catcher to unload finished parts and the models equipped with the second spindle also feature the pneumatic ejector with wash-down system to clean the clamping device. (standard feature on base, M and Y models) operated by a servo motor and ball screw (B axis). This solution improves operating flexibility since position and thrust are CNC-controlled. It is particularly suitable for the machining of shafts that must be centre-drilled first Also, to allow introducing medium-long sized shafts, the the BIGLIA software. It can also be used to perform simultaneously both drilling and turning.

This system allows the execution of even the most complex programs of programmes before machining operations (option). Graphical analysis of a crash and reacti of the axes and spindle drives AXIS ABSORPTION AXIS SPEED Approximate diagram interference point back traverse ALARM (AIR BAG) This special software detects the abnormal load created by a collision during rapid traverse or within the machining process. When a collision occurs, spindle rotation is stopped and the axis movement is halted thus damping the interference and limiting function does not prevent from collision.
