DRIESCHER Indoor SwitchDisconnector and switchfuse combination H 29 acc. to EN 6221103 and EN 6221105 2 Tyes of SwitchDisconnectors, Oerating conditions 3 Main advantages, Energie storage mechanism, rc extiniction 4 dditional equiment, Technical data 5 SwitchDisconnector H 29,, Tye E 6 Switchfuse combination H 29,, Tye SE SwitchDisconnector H 29,, Tye E, singleole 8 Range of roducts includes Tyes of SwitchDisconnectors and switchfuse combinations For many years DRIESCHER indoor switchdisconnectors H29 have guaranteed an excellent osition in switchgear engineering. These switchdisconnectors master the daily loads exerted under normal switching duty for interruting ring feeders, disconnecting network transformers and such with very high oerating frequencies and a minimum amount of maintance. These loadbreak switches are distiguished by simle design, absolute reliability in oeration and easy actuation. * see age 3, Energy storage mechanism Tye H 29 E with trifree mechanism* Tye H 29 E, singleole with trifree mechanism* Tye H 29 SE with trifree mechanism* as well as with fuse holders mounted bellow for HV HBC fuses with in release, for allole disconnection of the switch when a fuse oerates. The devices are fitted with an energy storage mechanism for quickmake and quickbreak oeration. In switchfuse combination (Tye SE) only HV HBC fuses with in release and a triing imact force of min. 80 N are to be used (DRIESCHER / SIB; refer also to 91). Oerating conditions The switches are designed for normal oerating conditions according to EN 62211 class Minus 5 Indoor. The eak value of the ambient temerature is 40 O C; the average value over 24 hours is 35 O C at best. The values of the insulating ower are related to sealevel. Reduction in insulating caacity at hights u to 1000 m are negligible due to the decreasing insulating caacity of the air. t hights over 1000 m above sealevel the values for rated withstand alternating and rated imulse withstand must be adjusted (e. g. at a hight of 2000 m above sealevel, the insualting ower of the air gas is reduced by a factor of 0.89). To each switchgear an instruction for transortation, mounting and utting into service is inclosed. This instruction which we certainly would send you in advance, has to be absolutely obeyed. 2
DRIESCHER Indoor SwitchDisconnector H 29 Substantial advantages High oerating safety Isolating distance visible after load disconnection High oerating frequency with minimum amount of maintenance Efficient and reliable arc extinction Convenient dimensions Easy oeration Energy storage mechanism One of the robust, lowmaintenance energy storage mechanisms of tye H 29 E is mounted on the base frame on which the three switch oles are installed. Hundreds of thousands of these devices have already been used successfully in the Switch Disconnector H 22. The E energy storage mechanism oerates with two torsion srings for quickmake and quickbreak oeration with trifree release. Both torsion srings are tensioned when the switch is closed. While the ON switch sring relaxes after tensioning and releases the energy for switching ON, the OFF switch sring remains tensioned and can be released by the triing device, HV HBC fuse with in triggering or manually for switching OFF. With nonmanual release the oerating shaft remains in ON osition and must be moved to the neutral osition manually for reclosing. The actuation for wallmounting devices can take lace via a linkage system oerated by a lever or using any of the manual actuators given in or motorized actuator given in brochure 4, according to requirements and situation. rc extinction When closing the switch the switch blade (5) with the arcing ti (6) is withdrawn from the contact jaw (2). The arc which occurs is extinguished in the arcing chamber (4). This chamber is enclosed, has four sections and comrises a ressure and an exansion chamber. In the ressure chamber two airs of extinguishing lates (3) are forced into the ath of the arc by lateral sring ressure. t low currents the arc is extinguished by deionising action based on the cooling effect of the walls. rc extinction is achieved in the higher current ranges by the arc extinguishing gases roduced in the ressure chamber flowing out into the exansion chamber. Based on the rational combination of several arc quenching rinciles the entire current range of the loadbreak switch is always effectively covered. 1 Uer connecting contact Lower connecting contact The arcing chambers require no maintenance. DRIESCHER Indoor SwitchDisconnector H 29 dditional equiment ll tyes are available with earthing switches mounted above and below. In tyes H 29 E the earthing switch is mounted above or below, on the switch frame (retrofitting is ossible). Tye H 29 SE are available with earthing switches integrated in the switch frame. ositive locking between switchdisconnector and earthing switch is ossible. The earthing switches generally have shortcircuit making caacity and are therefore makeroof. uxiliary switches, Release coils or shunt releases (110 V, 230 V C, or 24 V, 60 V, 110 V, 220 V DC) can be mounted on all switches including earthing switches. ll steel arts are galvanised and chromatised. Design switchfuse combination These switchfuse combination acc. to EN 6221105 consists of a function unit of switchdisconnector acc. to EN 6221103 and currentlimiting fuses acc. to EN 602821. The use of the switchfuse combination is on transformer rotection, esecially for lower and mean ower. The HV HVC fuse in combination with a switchdisconnector rovides a simle solution which is very economical to rocure and run. This rovides a clearcut advantage over a circuit breaker with the associated current transformers and overcurrent time rotection. Besides this, the HV HVC fuse has a current limiting effect when shortcircuits occur and reliably interruts the fault current of the first half cycle. These roerties are advantageous for the dimensional design of the network. The actuation of the loadbreak switch H 22 can be carried out with a linkage system oerated by a lever or with a motoroerated mechanism. Indoor actuators and accessories see brochure 4.
