MEMORANDUM Cindy Farah Purchasing Coordinator Business Office TO: Christine Thomas-Hill, Executive Director of Finance and Operations FROM: Cindy Farah, Purchasing Coordinator Tim Murray, Transportation Manager Vehicle Maintenance DATE: September 2, 2015 RE: MAINTENANCE PICK-UP TRUCK The maintenance department requires a vehicle that will be assigned to the district locksmith. It is our recommendation that we purchase one (1) pick-up truck (2016 F350 Super Cab), from Signature Ford in the amount of $28,373.00. Signature Ford provides the most competitive pricing and is also compliant with our bid specifications. Furthermore, this truck is similar to pickup trucks purchased in the past four years for the Maintenance Department, which allows for easier in-house repairs and maintenance going forward. The purchase of the pick-up truck is funded out of the general fund capital account. 412 Webster Street, Traverse City, Michigan 49686 t: 231 933 1728 f: 231 933 1791 e: farahcy@tcaps.net Great Community, Great Schools www.tcaps.net TV190
