In the event of rapid deceleration, the hazard warning lights are automatically activated to alert other drivers. The ESP delivers optimum road holding on bends by helping to re-establish the trajectory in the event of over or under steer. ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Emergency Braking Assistance (EBA) comes as standard on all versions. EBD controls brake pressure individually for each wheel, while EBA reduces stopping distances under emergency braking. Rain sensors automatically trigger the wipers at the first drop of rain. The central locking button instantly locks or unlocks the doors and boot. At speeds greater than 6 mph, the central locking operates automatically. The high frequency remote control allows you to lock or unlock the Citroën C2 from a distance or to locate it by simultaneously triggering the indicators and courtesy light. A clever control located on the central console enables you to register a maximum speed. In the event of exceeding this preprogrammed limit, an audible warning will alert you. The 16 Cheetah alloy wheels on the VTR deliver the kind of road holding required for dynamic driving whilst giving a sporty look. The Citroën C2 boasts driver s and front passenger s airbags. In addition, the front lateral airbags and side window airbags provide further passenger protection. The front passenger airbag can be de-activated to allow a baby seat to be installed.
