Bowling Green, Ohio 43402-1330 www.transportation.ohio.gov/dist2 ODOT District Two Monthly Construction Update For Immediate Release Thursday, February 16, 2017 Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined. Lucas/Wood Counties 1. Interstate 75: Widening Wood & Hancock Counties (170-14, 199-14, 237-14 & 3000-14): Interstate Restrictions: Through July, single lane restrictions are possible on I-75, between US 20 and CR 99 in Hancock County, for finish work. Project complete: October. All work is weather permitting. 2. Interstate 75: Widening Lucas County (485-14, 536-14): Through September 2018, overnight, 7pm through 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-75, from I-475 in Toledo to I-280 for widening and bridge work. Effective tonight 10pm, through Friday, February 17 at 1am, southbound I-75, between Polish Village Overpass and Phillips Avenue, will be reduced to one lane for guardrail repair. Additionally at this time, the ramp from southbound I-75 to Phillips Avenue may be closed. Detour: Detroit Avenue (Exit 203); northbound I-75. Effective Friday, February 17, from midnight until 4am, northbound I-75, between I-475 and Berdan Avenue, may be reduced to one lane for guardrail repair. Additionally at this time, the ramp from eastbound I-475 to northbound I-75 will be closed. Detour: southbound I-75; Detroit Avenue (Exit 203); northbound I-75.

The following ramps are restricted/closed: Through July 2018, the ramp from Phillips Avenue to southbound I-75 is closed. Detour: northbound I-75; Stickney Avenue (Exit 207); North Expressway Drive; southbound I- 75. Through July 2018, the ramp from Jeep/Willys Parkway to southbound I-75 is closed. Detour: Detroit Avenue. Through July 2018, the ramp from Jeep/Willys Parkway to northbound I-75 is closed. Detour: Berdan Avenue; Detroit Avenue; Phillips Avenue. Through July 2018, the ramp from southbound I-75 to Jeep/Willys Parkway (Exit 205A) is closed. Detour: Detroit Avenue (Exit 203B). Through September 2018, the interchange ramp from eastbound I-475 to southbound I- 75 is reduced to one lane. Local Streets: Effective Friday, February 17, through Thursday, February 23, daily from 8am until 6pm, northbound Detroit Avenue under I-75 will be closed for bridge work. Detour: Berdan Avenue; Haverhill Drive; Phillips Avenue. Through May, the Polish Village Overpass is closed for bridge work. Detour: North Expressway Drive; Stickney Avenue; South Expressway Drive. Through June, South Expressway Drive is restricted to a single lane between Stickney Avenue and Lagrange Street. Through June, Elm Street and Wersell Avenue at South Expressway Drive, are closed. Through June, Stickney Avenue, is restricted to a single lane between North Expressway Drive and South Expressway Drive. Through August, northbound Detroit Avenue under I-75 will be reduced to one lane for bridge work. Through October, expect lane restrictions on Phillips Avenue at I-75 for bridge work. Through July 2018, lane restrictions are possible on Detroit Avenue at I-75 for bridge work. Through July 2018, expect lane restrictions on Berdan Avenue at I-75 for bridge work.

Through July 2018, Willys Parkway from Pioneer Lane to Jeep Parkway is closed. Project complete: September 2018. All work is weather permitting. 3. Interstate 75: Rest Area Wood County (8000-17): Through June, the southbound I-75 rest area is closed for renovations and pavement repair. Project complete: June. All work is weather permitting. 4. Interstate 280: Bridge Repair Lucas County (1075-16): Through February, single lane restrictions are possible on southbound I-280, between Greenbelt Parkway (Exit 11) and Starr Avenue (Exit 8), for lighting installation. Project complete: February. All work is weather permitting. 5. Interstate 475: ProMedica Parkway Ramp Lucas County: The ramp from ProMedica Parkway to eastbound I-475 is open to access southbound I-75 only. Through September 2018, the ramp from ProMedica Parkway to eastbound I-475 to access northbound I-75 is closed. Detour: southbound I-75; Detroit Avenue (Exit 203B); northbound I-75. All work is weather permitting. 6. Interstate 475: Incident Clean-up and Guardrail Repair Lucas County: Tonight at 9pm, through Friday, February 17 at 6am, the ramp from westbound I-475 to northbound US 23 will be closed for clean-up and guardrail repairs from an earlier incident. Detour: southbound I-475; eastbound SR 2/Airport Highway (Exit 8A); northbound I- 475. All work is weather permitting. 7. Interstate Maintenance Work Lucas and Wood Counties: Through December, intermittent overnight lane restrictions are possible on I-75, I-280 and I-475 in Lucas and Wood counties for maintenance work. Project complete: December. All work is weather permitting. 8. U.S. Route 20: Central Avenue Interchange Project Lucas County (210-15): Through September, Central Avenue, between McCord Road and Van Fleet Parkway, may be reduced to one lane for finish work. Through September, lane restrictions are possible on I-475/US 23, between Dorr Street and N. Holland Sylvania Road. Through March, lane restrictions are possible on the ramps from US 20 to northbound I-475 and from southbound I-475 to US 20 for lighting work. Project complete: September. All work is weather permitting. 9. U.S. Route 20: Traffic Signal Upgrades Lucas County (301-16): Through February, daytime intermittent lane restrictions are possible

at the intersection of Central Avenue/US 20 and Meijer Drive for finish work. Project complete: February. All work is weather permitting. 10. State Route 2: Anthony Wayne Bridge Painting Project Lucas County (220-16): Through November, SR 2, between Oak Street and Broadway Street, is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge painting. Through February, Utah Street, under the Anthony Wayne Bridge, is closed for bridge painting. Detour: Greenwood Avenue; Oak Street; Nevada Street. Additional local road closures may be announced. Project complete: November. All work is weather permitting. 11. U.S. Route 20: Culvert Replacements, Resurfacing & Turn Lanes *NEW WORK* Wood County (256-16): Effective Monday, March 20, through Monday, April 3, US 20 east of Glenwood Road will be closed for culvert replacement. Additionally at this time, US 20 east of Tracy Road will be closed for culvert replacement. Detour: SR 420; I-280; SR 795; I-75; US 20. Local access to US 20 available via Ault, Oregon and Tracy Roads. Effective Monday, April 3, through Wednesday, April 5, US 20 at Oregon Road will be closed for culvert replacement. Detour: SR 420; I-280; SR 795; I-75; US 20. Effective Thursday, April 6 through April, Oregon Road at US 20 will be closed for turn lane installation. At this time, US 20 will be open to through traffic. Lane restrictions on US 20, between Lime City Road and Stony Ridge Road, for resurfacing will be announced. The reduction of US 20, between Luckey Road and SR 420, to one lane for bridge repair will be announced. Traffic will be maintained by temporary traffic signal. Project complete: June 2017. All work is weather permitting. 12. State Route 18: Railroad Repair *CLOSURE BEGINS TUESDAY* Wood County: Effective Tuesday, February 21, through Wednesday, March 8, SR 18, between Railroad Street and Hamm Street in Bloomdale, will be closed for railroad repair. Detour: SR 613; I-75. All work is weather permitting. 13. State Route 25: Diverging Diamond Interchange Wood County (8029-16): Through October, overnight from 7pm until 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-475, between the I-75/475 interchange and Fort Meigs Road, for diverging diamond interchange work. Additionally, overnight from 9pm until 6am, lane restrictions are possible on SR 25, between Levis Commons Boulevard and Eckel Junction Road, for diverging diamond interchange work. Project complete: October. All work is weather permitting. 14. State Route 795: Traffic Signal Upgrades

Wood County (301-16): Through February, daytime intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 795 at Glenwood Road, for traffic signal upgrades. Project complete: February. All work is weather permitting. 15. Fort Meigs Road: Widening Wood County (460-16): Effective Monday, February 27, through June, Fort Meigs Road, between Five Point Road and the high school drive in Perrysburg, will be closed for widening. Detour: Five Point Road; SR 25; Roachton Road. Local access maintained. Project complete: July. All work is weather permitting. Ottawa/Sandusky/Seneca Counties 16. State Route 53: Traffic Signal Upgrades Sandusky County (301-16): Through February, shoulder restrictions are possible on SR 53, between US 20 and Sean Street, for finish work. Additional restrictions may be announced. Project Complete: February. All work is weather permitting. Williams/Fulton/Henry Counties 17. U.S. Route 20A: Resurfacing and Signal Upgrades *UPDATE* Fulton County (8016-16): Through April, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Airport Highway/US 20A, between the Lucas/Fulton County line and CR 3, for signal work. Project complete: May. All work is weather permitting. 18. State Route 109: Damascus Bridge: Bridge Replacement Henry County (1-15): Through October, motorists should watch for additional truck traffic near SR 109 at the Damascus bridge for bridge work. Work impacting traffic will be announced. Project complete: October. All work is weather permitting. 19. State Route 109: Utility Work *CLOSURE BEGINS TUESDAY* Fulton County: Effective Tuesday, February 21, through Friday, February 24, SR 109 at Providence Street in Delta will be closed for utility work. Detour: US 24; SR 108; US 20A. All work is weather permitting. District Wide 20. Various Routes: Guardrail, Striping & Electrical Maintenance District Wide (1053-15 & 1059-15 & 1044-15): Through December, intermittent lane restrictions are possible district wide for guardrail, striping and electrical maintenance. Project complete: December. All work is weather permitting.

The Ohio Department of Transportation maintains the state's largest man-made asset--the transportation system. ODOT's mission is to provide the safe and easy movement of people and goods from place to place. As a $2.8 billion per year enterprise, ODOT invests the bulk of its resources in system preservation through maintenance, construction and snow and ice operations.
