Positive Aspects of ODRA Return on arrests Rio Arriba County For every 100 proactive DWI arrests = 12 fewer crashes over a 12 month period Helps to plan traffic enforcement activities strategically Reducing Alcohol-involved crashes and Non-alcohol involved crashes If an agency has a unique variable that it wishes to use, the program can accommodate rather easily

Multiple uses for ODRA Integrate other datasets such as; Liquor Outlets/Density DWI Offender residences Crime - Violent and property Assist policy makers DWI court disposition information Citizens for determining safer routes to travel
ODRA Advances Mapmaking Methods Uses spatial and temporal variables to create probabilistic scores. The technologies used are Mysql, PHP and Javascript. Algorithms are used to rank Alcohol and Non-Alcohol crash intersections during specific periods of time. Includes prior history as a weighting mechanism Uses mapping to make deployment intuitive and quick
