The Nitro Ant footclamps are a unique concept that utilize nitrogen compressed gas springs to achieve a high powered, self centralizing & compact foot clamp for diamond drilling applications. Being that the clamping is powered by hydraulic & nitrogen springs the Nitro Ant is perfect for angled as well as 90 degree drilling, no need to rely on rod weight as a fail safe to secure rods down the hole. The Torque-Max spanner is an alternative to chain tong spanners with the added bonus of being more reliable, harder wearing & safer to operate. FOOT CLAMPS These foot clamps are available with a rotation option so they can be utilized as a breakout tool as well as drill rod clamp. Various sizing is available to suit most rigs, although if required CE can adjust designs to fit to your rig. The foot clamp are driven by hydraulic cylinder to create the initial clamp, once engaged the angled inserts slips take over keep the force constant as the deadweight of the drill string holds itself in place.
