An updated molding is now available to address this condition. Production Change Information This bulletin applies to vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown below. Disengage the clip and claw and remove the roof drip side finish molding joint cover as shown. HINT Use the same procedure for the rear side and front side. 3. Remove the center roof drip side finish molding. Removal Procedures for Vehicles With Roof Rack 1. Remove front roof rack leg cover A. Put protective tape around the front roof rack leg cover. Figure 3. 1 Protective Tape B. Using a molding remover, disengage the 4 claws. Be careful not to damage the claws.

T-SB-0053-12 March 6, 2012 Page 8 of 8 4. Remove the center roof drip side finish molding. A. Place a matchmark on the vehicle body on the location indicated. Figure 11. 1 Matchmark B. Remove the center roof drip side finish molding 5. Replace the center roof drip side finish molding with a NEW part. Make sure to line up the matchmark and using firm pressure, press the molding from the front of the vehicle to the end of the rear of the vehicle to confirm proper adhesion to the roof. Clean installation area with a wax and grease remover to make sure no dust or grease is on the body surface before the molding is applied After removing the backing paper, be sure not to touch the double sided tape, this molding cannot be reused once the tape contacts the vehicle 6. Reassemble the components in reverse order.
