2.1 How it works: A sound coil movement promotes the diaphragm coil through the armature movement (different from the ordinary speaker (moving coil speaker)). MOVING COIL MOVING IRON CONDENSER 2.2 Moving iron speaker features: small size, high fidelity, high sensitivity, low power consumption. Its manufacturing relies on high-precision production equipment and unique technology. 2.2.1 Moving iron speaker is better than moving coil speaker at sound insulation. Due to the larger area of the moving coil unit and the requirement for more space and air to engage in vibration in the process of sound production, then the phenomenon of leakage cannot be effectively controlled; on the other hand, the moving iron speaker can effectively reduce the volume of the part in the ear, and put part into the deeper ear canal. With the high sensitivity, moving iron speaker has a better transient performance; in addition, it is far better than moving coil speaker in many aspects, including the dynamic performance of music, instantaneous details of the performance, and sound density. 2.2.3 The Frequency Response Curve of moving iron speaker is more stable. The Frequency Response curve of moving coil speaker will appear some audible changes under the different temperatures, humidity and usages. Moving iron speaker shows good stability, so that the sound quality is more stable and reliable, and difficult to be altered. A primary key reason of that is the moving iron speaker is made of metal material by precision mold forming. The vibrating diaphragm of a moving coil is generally combined with coil through glue. Therefore, there are many affecting factors including individual differences. Therefore, compared with the moving coil speaker, moving iron speaker's electro-acoustic performance is way more stable.
