In close co-operation with Daimler AG the measurement and adjustment procedures were developed and customised to make sure that especially Mercedes-Benz, Smart and Maybach vehicles can be serviced on the basis of original data and specifications. 3D wheel alignment supplies absolutely accurate data, avoiding any possible inaccuracies, making sure your customer will be highly satisfied. John Bean wheel aligners do not use a horizontal reference plane, but measure in three-dimensional space, which drastically reduces requirements as to lift levelling. The aligners fit flexibly into nearly every garage. Compared with a conventional wheel aligner 3D aligners save time and increase productivity of your garage once the four targets are fitted on the wheels a few minutes are enough to complete alignment. Intelligent self-test the software reports any hardware defects. Continuous measurement of camber, caster and toe and readings of measured data on the monitor avoids repeated measurements. Live readings of vehicle dimensions for improved collision repair. Caster trail and scrub radius can be measured an absolute must for collision repair, or vehicle tuning. Visualiner 3D2-MB Gen II The Visualiner 3D2-MB Gen II has been specially designed for professional use. Daimler-specific procedures are already integrated, thus facilitating wheel alignment in line with OEM requirements. The aligners can be integrated into the asanetwork. asanetwork Customer data can be imported and exported and are hence available for use elsewhere in the garage. Caster, camber and toe can be adjusted even with the wheels demounted important for vehicles where adjusting elements are difficult to access. The 20 TFT wide-screen monitor and the ergonomic control terminal make wheel alignment quite convenient. For aftermarket rims User-friendly through practical quick clamps, corrosion-proof through partly chrome-plated surfaces, and a clamping range of 11 22 (up to 26 with optional extensions). Measurement of the maximum steering angle is also possible with high SAI and caster values. For Daimler rims The quick clamps optionally available through Daimler are perfectly designed for mounting the targets to the wheels. Reversible rim claws Thanks to the reversible rim claws the wheel clamps can be used both on steel and alloy rims. Plastic wheel caps can be left on the rim during measurement. This saves time and preserves rims and wheel caps. Sophisticated camera technology The high-definition cameras ensure accurate results and a wide viewing angle.
Visualiner 3D Arago-MB Gen II The following additional features of Visualiner 3D Arago-MB Gen II make wheel alignment an ultimate experience for specialists. The aligner is self-calibrating, hence is always perfectly calibrated. Owing to DigiSmart the cameras focus on the targets automatically and fully synchronous with the lift this saves expensive working time. With the adjustable cameras it is possible to measure even extremely small or large vehicles without any problem. With the two independent camera posts the alignment site is a drive-through place ideally suited for check-in in the garage. Only a few manual inputs are required, then the program proceeds automatically. This facilitates operation and helps to minimise the risk of input errors. Ride height measurement This measurement is accomplished quickly and reliably using the optional ROMESS ride height measuring system approved by Daimler.
