The installation of this accessory should follow approved guidelines to ensure a quality installation. These guidelines can be found in the Accessory Installation Practices document. This document covers such items as: Vehicle Protection (use of covers and blankets, cleaning chemicals, etc.) Safety (eye protection, checking torque procedure, etc.) Vehicle Disassembly/Reassembly (panel removal, part storage, etc.) Electrical Component Disassembly/Reassembly (battery disconnection, connector removal, etc.) Page 2 of 10

Pry around edge of shift surround and remove. (Fig. 1-1c) 7. Lift center console and remove from vehicle. (Fig. 1-1d) 4. Remove steering column trim panel Punch/Drill SHIFT BOOT REMOVED TO AID INSTALLATION 1. Lift lower right corner of speedo shroud and pry around edge of steering column trim panel. (Fig. 1-2) 2. Remove 2 screws from panel above auxiliary power outlet assembly. (Fig. 1-2a) FRONT REAR 3. Remove panel above auxiliary power outlet assembly. 4. Disconnect power and remove auxiliary power assembly. 5. Install cup Holder Lights Fig. 1-3 Page 3 of 10 a. Drill holes for cup holder lights. 1. Cut out enclosed paper template la-

Drill pilot holes with 1/8 drill bit. 4. Drill the lamp hole with a 9/32 drill bit. (Fig. 1-4a) 5. De-burr holes with de-burring tool. Install lens from inside of cup holder. b. Insert Lens from inside of cup holder. c. Firmly press body of lamp onto lens. (Fig. 1-4) d. Secure wires with foam pads 1. Verify that the connecotr is facing the rear of the vehicles. (Fig. 1-5) Fig. 1-5 Fig. 1-6 Punch Fig. 1-6a 6. Install front Storage Lights a. Drill holes for storage lights 1. Cut out enclosed paper template labeled Storage Lights 2. Align template as shown. (Fig. 1-6) 3. Use a punch/scribe to mark the center of the hole to be drilled 4. Drill pilot holes with 1/8 drill bit. 5. Drill the lamp hole with a 9/32 drill bit. (Fig.1-7) Page 4 of 10

Drill LED LAMPS 6. De-burr holes with de-burring tool. b. Insert Lens from behind partition. c. Firmly press body of lamp onto lens. d. Secure lamp leads to cupholder assembly. 1. Using foam pads secure cupholder lamp leads to bottom of cup holder assembly. (Fig. 1-8) Fig. 1-7 2. It s important the wires go straight down under the cupholder to keep from rubbing the shifter plastic tongue 7. Install power Switch a. Drill hole for switch SECURE HARNESS 1. Cut out switch template. Use a punch or scribe to mark center of the hole to be drilled. (Fig. 1-9) 2. Using a 1/2 drill bit (Unibit or step drill is highly recommended), drill the switch hole. SECURE HARNESS b. Clean bezel surface to remove grease and wax. (Fig. 1-10) Fig. 1-8 Punch 1. Wipe the application area clean with alcohol and a clean no-scratch cloth. 2. Dry the installation area using a clean, dry, lint free cloth. c. Insert switch bezel into switch plate. (Fig. 1-11a) d. Using the pull-tab, remove the tape liner from the back of the switch plate. (Fig. 1-11b) 1. Avoid finger contact with the adhesive surface. Fig. 1-9 e. Using the bezel as a guide, install switch plate/bezel into the previously drilled 1/2 hole. Page 5 of 10

Drill 1. Align the printing ILLUMINATION square to the console. (Fig. 1-10) 2. Once aligned, press down firmly to adhere tape. f. Install Sleeve to bezel, white edge of sleeve goes towards console. (Fig. 1-11c) g. Align switch leads as shown. h. Install switch to bezel as shown. 1. Using switch tool turn bezel clockwise to tighten. Fig. 1-10 2. Be careful not to over tighten as this will over ride the threads on the switch. If this happens simply retighten being careful not to over tighten. 3. Push button into bezel pressing to engage. Fig. 1-11a Fig. 11b Fig. 1-11c FIG. 1-12 Wire Forward Page 6 of 10 8. Install light modules a. Install Driver side Light Module. b. Locate attachment location indicated by arrow. Wire end of light should face front. (Fig. 1-12) c. Clean surface to remove and wax. d. Wipe application area clean with alcohol and a clean no-scratch cloth. (Fig. 1-13a) e. Dry the installation area using a clean, dry, lint free cloth. f. Using the pull tab remove the tape liner from the back of the switch plate. (Fig. 1-13b)

Lay out harness as shown and identify connectors. (Fig.1-15) b. Bulk of harness will reside towards front of center console assembly. c. Route LED module connector forward and behind kick panels. d. Repeat on passengers side e. Connect LED module connectors to previously installed Light Guide assemblies. f. Locate power. 1. Remove connector from auxillary power outlet. (Fig. 1-16a) 2. Install T-taps in staggered fashion. (Fig. 1-16) g. Attach harness to power. (Fig. 1-17) 1. Black wire on harness to white/black wire on power outlet socket. Fig. 1-16 2. White wire on harness to gray wire on power outlet socket. h. Reinstall center console storage box. 1. Attach Y connector to harness Fig. 1-17 Fig. 1-17a 2. Attach Y connector to cup holder lamps. (Fig. 1-17a) 3. Attach Y connector to front storage box lamps. i. Secure hareness using cable ties. (Fig. 1-18) 1. verify that no moving parts will rub on the harness. j. Secure any excess wire with cable ties and foam pads. Page 8 of 10

k. Secure leads running to light modules with foam pads. l. Connect Switch to Harness. 1. Connect switch leads to harness. (Fig. 1-19) SECURE HARNESS 2. Reinstall insert. 3. CAUTION: After installing insert verify the that the brake lever does not interfere with the LED modules (Fig. 1-20) Fig. 1-18 4. After verifying that ther is adequate clearance reinstall parking brake boot and complete installation. 5. Reconnect battery negative terminal. m. Reconnect battery negative terminal. n.
