NEWS RELEASE November 8, 2017 Contact: Marsha Roa Public Information Manager 909.839.7055 mroa@diamondbarca.gov GRAND AVENUE INTERCHANGE AT SR-57 (ORANGE) AND SR-60 (POMONA) MULTIPLE ROADWAY, RAMP AND FREEWAY CLOSURES STARTING NOVEMBER 14, 2017 THROUGH FEBRUARY 2018 (Diamond Bar, CA November 8, 2017) As part of the ongoing construction of the 57/60 Interchange Improvement project, multiple roadway and ramp closures along Grand Avenue are scheduled to take place as follows: Starting Tuesday, November 14 AND Wednesday, November 15 from 12:00 a.m. (Midnight) to 3:00 a.m. (full wb SR-60 freeway closure) Full closure of westbound SR-60 (Pomona) between Diamond Bar Boulevard and Brea Canyon Road for the installation of overhead signage Starting Friday, November 17 at 10:00 p.m. to Monday, November 20 at 5:00 a.m. (55-hour closure) Full closure of Grand Avenue (north and southbound lanes) between Baker Parkway (Industry) and the SR-60 (Pomona) eastbound on- and off-ramps, westbound on- and off-ramps at Grand Avenue, and Old Brea Canyon Road to complete pavement work and construction of the new westbound on-ramp. Note: Traffic exiting westbound Grand Avenue off-ramp will be restricted to make right turns only onto northbound Grand Avenue towards Industry/Walnut. Traffic will NOT be permitted to make a left turn to travel towards Diamond Bar/Chino Hills. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead. Long Term Closure SR60 (Pomona) WB Grand Avenue On-Ramp November 18, 2017 to February 18, 2018 WESTBOUND ON-RAMP CLOSED Traffic on SB Grand Avenue will be detoured to Baker Parkway/Brea Canyon Road. Traffic on NB Grand Avenue will be detoured to Golden Springs Drive/Brea Canyon Road. WESTBOUND OFF-RAMP WILL BE RESTRICTED TO RIGHT TURN ONLY Traffic that regularly turns left (south) onto Grand Avenue may exit at Sunset Crossing Road (SR 57 SB) or Diamond Bar Boulevard (SR 60 WB).
