Overload and short circit settings of the pstream circit breaker can be adjsted as sal corresponding to the rated power of OSKαR. OSKαR The protection of the loads remains sally nchanged, becase of the minimal changes of the short circit crrent. Loads OSKαR BASIC SETUP OSKαR is delivered in one or more standard control cabinets. The basic setp consists of the components rectifier, inverter with integrated overloadable bypass, short circit protection and the serial transformer. The spply of the correction voltage throgh a robstly designed low-impedance serial transformer is significant for the rgged and overload capable design of the voltage stabilizer, while the power electronics enable an almost instantaneos correction of the otpt voltage. OSKαR APPLICATION EXAMPLE To serve also regenerative loads, the fll power converter is a 4-Qadrant operation converter eqipped with an Active Front End converter which ensres the bi-directional power flow between the sorce and the load. online-spply-correction with adaptive reglation ROBUST SHORT-CIRCUIT AND OVERLOAD PROTECTION When protecting critical indstrial prodction processes, nder no circmstances the spply of the process mst be interrpted if a falt within OSKαR occrs. On the other side, the high-tech power electronic modles in OSKαR mst not be damaged if there is an overload or a falt within the connected eqipment. Also, short circits at the connected loads or in the distribtion panel shold not only be bypassed by OSKαR, bt shold also be gided in a way that the protection eqipment on the cstomers side is tripping safely. The key part is a short-circit protection with a bypass based on thyristor modles. These modles become active in short-circit or nder any other falt conditions. The bypass modle is shielded by mechanical bypass switches, integrated into the inverter modle, offering a backp protection in case the bypass modle fails. Those mechanical bypass switches are designed for twice the rated crrent of the system. Therefore, these mechanical switches are ensring all forms of redndancy for garanteeing the protection of the load. Now that s what we call ROBUST! We call sch a system robst. Only a robst system is sitable for applications in indstrial processes. In order to meet these challenges, or R&D engineers have designed a mlti-redndant bypass system which ensres that the connection between sorce and load remains intact if any kind of falt occrs. OSKαR powered by Condensator Dominit SERVICE BYPASS MAINTENANCE WITHOUT DOWN TIME Althogh OSKαR rns with only little maintenance, it mst be possible to isolate it from the connected electrical system for inspection or maintenance prposes. To avoid any prodction downtime, it is possible to bypass the complete system with an additional service bypass. The biggest advantage of it, especially in the continos process indstry, is that the prodction lines which are protected by OSKαR do not have to be interrpted or switched off even dring maintenance, ltimately reslting in zero downtime.
