SPM Supprting [supprtive] Perfrmance Measures SPM Supprting [supprtive] Perfrmance Measures Better reflects the actual wrk r actins that prduce the utcmes, which are reprted n the 157 perfrmance reprt. These measures represent ptential areas fr analysis which are nt as brad as the Federal Perfrmance Measures. SPM1 Percent f Cllectins f Supprts the Federal Perfrmance Measure [FPM] Cllectins n. This FPM measures the percent f cllectins distributed t current supprt against the amunt f current supprt due. This SPM measures the number f cases with a distributin t current supprt against the number f cases with current supprt due. Generally, there is a larger rati n the number f cases that are receiving current supprt ver the measure f fulfillment. There may be a small number f cases that have high dllar rders that skew the rati, r cases that require mdificatins because the bligr s circumstances have changed etc. Using the SPM allws yu t measure hw many families are getting at least sme f their child supprt. Where the FPM - Cllectins n measures fulfillment f the bligatin, the FPM - an Arrears Distributin measures even an insignificant amunt distributed t a case with arrears due. This SPM measures the average amunt distributed t each case with a cllectin by dividing the distributed cllectins frm the OCSE 34a by the number f cases with a cllectin as reprted n the OCSE 157. The SPM is mre representative f the effectiveness f caselad cllectins because yu are measuring the impact f all mnies cllected t the ttal number f cases with a cllectin, whether current r arrears.
