Port of Ningbo, China Ship-To-Shore (STS) cranes ZPMC requires a customized flexible cable solution for 6 STS cranes in Ningbo, China. Complete package of cable solution for STS cranes. The drum spreader requires special heavy duty cable. Nexans assisted ZPMC in the project design stage. Nexans provided Rheycord (RTS)(N) SHTOEU-J SPREADER, equipped with central strength member and anti-torsion braid to guarantee the suitability in drum spreader condition. Local technical support was a key success factor. Port of Ningbo, China Ship-To-Shore (STS) cranes ZPMC
Port of Antwerp, Belgium Automated Stacking Cranes (ASC) Gottwald needs to equip high speed ASCs with Medium Voltage reeling cables for the Deurganckdock in Antwerp. Gottwald requires highly specialised cables that can withstand the continuous high-speed use associated with this particular type of demanding application. Nexans develops a customized cable solution to withstand extreme tensile forces and mechanical stress. Port of Antwerp, Belgium Automated Stacking Cranes (ASC) Gottwald
Port of Marseille, France Ship-To-Shore (STS) cranes In container terminals of Mourepiane and Fos sur Mer, Cavotec to install a reliable cable solution for a multispiral and monospiral reeling device on the 6 STS cranes. Develop an innovative cable solution with smallest possible diameter, that can detect damages on the cable outer sheath to secure workers on site. The same cable solution has to be installed on existing and new reels. Buflex X PREM 12/20 kv 3x35+3x10+EG was manufactured with a maximum outer diameter of 62 mm, with special inner and outer sheath compounds. During operation, a permanent measurement of insulation resistance is observed: - between phases - between phase screens, earth conductors and general screen - between overall screen and cable surface Port of Marseille, France Ship-To-Shore (STS) cranes Cavotec
