Comments LW 50100-50249 are painted a light green color rarely used since the demise of Penn Central in 1976. Another interesting thing about this series is the routine painting over of graffiti with a matching shade of green. These plate E cars are only 15 6 in height. For comparison, cars with TBOX initials are plate F and 17 0 in height. The design of the LW 50100-50249 is unique. LW 50100, 50102-50103, 50114, 50116-50118, 50122-50161, 50163-50165, 50167-50175, 50177 and 50179-50180 (62) cars were leased to Le Groupe Forex, Inc. by Flex Leasing in December, 1999. LW 50101, 50104-50113, 50115,50119-50121, 50162, 50166, 50176, 50178, 50181-50249 (88) cars were leased to Le Groupe Forex, Inc. by Flex Leasing in February, 2000. Le Groupe Forex was a manufacturer of oriented stand board (OSB) with two mills and three OSB facilities. An agreement to merge into Louisianna-Pacific was signed in September, 1999.
