Step 1 Position driver s seat as pictured. Tilt the seatback forward. Slide the seat all the way forward and raise the seat bottom so that you can access the two bolts that hold the seat rails to the body of the car. Remove the two bolts with a 10mm triple square bit. This specialty tool can be purchased from ECS Tuning (ES1876781). 10mm triple-square 3
Step 1 continued Slide the seat all the way back to remove the front two bolts. 10mm triple-square When all of the bolts are removed, tilt the entire seat and frame backwards. 4
Step 1 continued Rotate the seat 90 and lay it backwards towards the center console so that you can work on the underside while sitting outside of the car. Step 2 pry up Remove the tray from the cassette by prying up on the retaining tab on the underside of the cassette. You will see where the tray catches on the tab. Use a screwdriver, and be careful not to break the tab off! 5
Step 2 continued Identify the mounting points on the bottom of the seat. Pink is for the T20 Torx and green is for the pop rivets that affix the support bracket. front of seat cushion 6
Step 2 continued Install the support bracket with pop rivets in the two holes circled in green. If you do not have a rivet gun, don t worry, you can still install the storage tray without the support bracket. 2x rivets Align the holes in the cassette, pointed out in the photo on the right, with the holes on the bottom of the seat frame. The green arrow is for the fastener that bolts to the riveted bracket. 7
Step 2 continued Attach all of the fasteners using a T20 Torx screwdriver. Top left: Bottom left: 8

Step 2 continued You can now slide the tray into the cassette. You ll have to push it past the retaining tab. Make sure all the under-seat electrical harnesses are connected and secured. Rotate the seat back into place. There are locating dowels on the bottom of the seat rails. They position the rails in the proper place so you can bolt down the seat. 10
Step 3 Tighten the four 10mm triple-square bolts to 30 ft-lbs of torque. Double-check that the electrical harnesses under the seat are connected! 30 ft-lbs (40 Nm) 11
