Haaga sweepers are suitable for sweeping any flat hard surfaces. Unique Turbo-sweeping system with rotary plate brushes and brush roller ensures double efficiency. HAAGA 677,697 are Battery powered sweepers. After battery discharge are both HAAGA 677 and 697 functioning by pushing. The spin of wheels heels is tramitting power to the brushes which creates the sweeping efect. Please follow the below HAAGA USER MANUAL: Connecting the battery cable! To avoid the battery being discharged and machine demmaged during shipping, the batteries will be disconnected from the battery. If you leave the cable unplugged, battery can not be recharged and sweeper will not be functioning. To connect the wire to the battery, lift up the lid (Hood) slightly by pulling it out and lifting it up at the bottom of the lid. Connect the cable plug to the contact battery. (Red = + Blue = -) Lower the lid back to its original position and snap it. The machine is ready for use. (Reversing the cables to the battery may damage some parts in the sweeper).
1) Store your sweeper the way all of it's brushes are not in contact with sorround objects to avoid the bent of brushes. 2) Have the height adjustment set on highest possible setting in the highest functional position. Set the lover brush setting only in case when bristles are far from reaching the sweeping surface. Temporarly lowering of brushes will create higher preasure on brushes an can be required for sweeping some of surfaces or debri. Lowering of brushes ( increesing of brush preasure) should be temporarly only to clean certain areas. 3) Increase the preasure on push handle to lift up the front wheels (brushes) when crossing small steps or step like horizontal obstacle. Repeating impact into sharp surface steps can demage the front wheel pivot housing and gearing further on. 4) Stop to use the sweeping machine Immediately when sweeper stops to run smoothly. Disconnect the waste bin and look for brushes blockage. Environmental Protection: 1) Always comply with environmental regulations with all used and parts and battery. First use: Handle: Fold the handle holder to an upright position press the orange flexible latch on the handle and slide the handle into the holes of the handle holder. Push the handle so far, that it holds the handle against the latch. Service: Height adjustment: Haaga sweepers are designed and their brushes are set to sweep flat hard surfaces. Brush pressure can be easily changed by turning the control lever Position 1-2: new brush, flat surface Position 2-3: new brushes, sweeping wet leaves, sand, uneven surfaces
Position 5-7: older brushes to eliminate wear on brush parts. Position 8: Service position for removing the front wheel shaft including the brush when servicing or repairing the machine. Emptying waste bin: Dump and clean the waste bin regularly. To open the container, fold the push handle to upright position. Lift the container handle upwards and disconnect the waste bin. After emptying place the container back into place and push the holders down to secure the container to In its place. The machine is ready to continue in sweeping Brushes: Rotary disk brushes and roller brush can be cleaned with water. (do not use high preasure washer!) Brush bristles are made of polyamide. If the bristles are bent due to poor storage warm it up and bring it to the original working position by using hot air flow (eg hairdryer) you can also se warm water. (Do not use open Fire or burners and close to intense heat!) LEAFLET: accumulated dirt may adversely affect the functionality and life of the Sweeper. Please keep and clean your sweeper regularly. This gives you a trouble-free sweep function and long service life. Battery charging: Charging of battery must be done with the original charging device included in the package. Recharging should be carried out in a dry and well-ventilated room. Sweeper must be switched off during t hecharging. To charge, insert the charging connector into the slot (item 10.02) and connect the adapter cable. When battery fully charged, disconnect the cable from charging socket. Sweeper is ready to use. To Charge the battery takes 4-6 hours. Always store the sweeper with a recharged battery to prevent the battery from running out of power for a long time storage. During long storage, recharge the battery every two months for 10 hours.
Safety instructions for battery handling: Use only original charging device. Prevent short circuit when handling electrical power source and cables. Never connect (short) the battery contacts. Always keep the battery dry and clean. Do not smoke near the battery, do not expose the battery to fire and sparks. Do not consume food and beverages at the battery recharging point. Do not force yourself to open (break) the battery casing and do not expose the battery to sunshine.
