ACCURPRESS QUALITY BUILD: Moses Projector Cover (Optional) The Moses projector is safely protected during forming by a sheet metal cover. Side Panels Quality Sheet metal panels protect the safety gauging system and give the Hybrid a signature new look. These panels swing open to allow for easy side loading of tooling and access to the safety system. Vision Drop Down Screen The Vision programming screen is built right into the Hybrid top cover panel. MATERIAL COMPENSATION FEATURES MATERIAL THICKNESS SENSING SYSTEM During the bending process, the Accell measures variations and inconsistencies in material thickness and then self-adjusts to maintain accurate angle performance. TEACH CROWNING The Teach Crowning feature eliminates the need to manually adjust crowning values via a crowning sensor, which measures machine deflection in realtime and automatically updates the system for the next bend. PRESSURE COMPENSATION The Accurpress Hybrid senses variations in pressure between bending with or against the material grain and senses different bend line lengths. HYBRID BACKGAUGE OPTIONS PREMIUM BACKGAUGE The Premium backgauge is Accurpress standard backgauge, available for all makes and models of Accurpress press brakes. Available in lengths from 6 to 24, the Premium backgauge is built with large section extrusions and roller carriage castings that maintain strength and accuracy over the life of the machine. The Premium backgauge is easily maintained and serviced and can be upgraded to powered R and Z1/ Z2 axes as well as manual X Prime. ELITE BACKGAUGE The Elite backgauge offers full 6 axis part gauging via 2 independent gauging platforms that are mounted on a linear rail on the back of the bed. SUPREME BACKGAUGE The Supreme backgauge is Accurpress 6-Axes gauging system that meets the challenges of today s complex sheet metal parts and fast paced production environments. Constructed from a one-piece rugged steel platform that is isolated from machine ram movements, the Supreme backgauge maintains its accuracy and strength over the lifetime of the machine. Wila continues to invest in the latest bending technologies making them the smart choice for the Accurpress Hybrid machine INTRODUCING THE WILA PNEUMATIC TOOL CLAMPING SYSTEM Tools are quickly and easily clamped in place using air pressure and specialized clamping pins. This system dramatically improves tool productivity and removes the need for an existing hydraulic system, making it an ideal option for our Hybrid machines. ACCURPRESS CROWNING SYSTEMS The Accurpress Crowning System provides deflection compensation over the entire bed length of the machine. Crowning adjustment is made automatically using the Vision Control and can be easily edited with manual adjustments or by using Teach Mode where real time deflection is measured and the bend program adjusts automatically. *AccurPress press brakes are compatible with other crowning systems such as Wila. SHEET METAL SUPPORT SYSTEMS FRONT SUPPORT ARMS The Accurpress front support arms come in 24 and 36 lengths and are fully adjustable for different tooling heights and thicknesses. The bottom Foot Disk allows the operator to easily adjust the height of the support arm while the top support piece can be adjusted front to back depending on the desired position. These support arms are mounted on a liner rail for smooth and accurate positing left to right on the press brake. Both sizes feature angle gauging, squaring bars and disappearing stops. SHEET FOLLOWER The Accurpress Sheet Following System is a moveable support table that lifts and supports material during the bending motion. It is fully synchronized with the ram bend speed and desired angle and can support a load capacity of 500lb per sheet follower. SAFETY SYSTEMS FIESSLER The Fiessler laser guiding system is available for all Hybrid Models and protects the operator from pinch point hazard of closing tooling. The Fiessler system transmits 3 lasers across the tooling area and monitors any interference as the parts are formed. In the event of an unplanned obstruction in the laser area, the ram is immediately stopped thereby protecting the operator. REAR GUARDING Rear guarding is a standard feature for the Supreme and Ally backgauge and can be ordered as an option for the Premium backgauge. A metal wall complete with gate and safety interlock switch is installed and safely blocks operator access to the backgauge area. If the operator needs to access the back of the machine, an interlock switch is installed on the gate that will prevent the machine from turning on when the door is opened.
