Hiarom Invest is a private company, established in January 2007, whose main objective is the import, trade, assembly and maintenance of Hiab equipment in Romania. To complete the Hiab equipment and provide the customers with the complete spectrum of solutions, the Hiarom Superstructure Division was established in 2009, dealing with the design, construction, assembly and repair of superstructures for commercial vehicles. Now, over 100 employees carry out their tasks in our group, most of them being involved in the service and production departments. We are in seek of continual improvement and we work with professionalism to meet our objectives. We are responsible for what we do and we have mechanisms that guarantee not only the control of our operations and results, but also the rewards to our co-workers according to their performance. Our equipment We carry out our projects in a production hall with an area of 3,480 sq. m, located on the highway belt of Bucharest. It allows us to provide our customers complex repairs, using state-of-the-art equipment. Due to the location, the access of customers with trucks and heavy-duty equipment is easily provided. We have a fleet of fifteen VW mobile workshops, fully equipped, used to act promptly anywhere in the country. We are ready to provide solutions for a large variety of activities.
Rail-Road Trucks Hiarom Railway is developing and building road-rail vehicles for any possible use and application. Our road-rail vehicles are used by various entities worldwide, our list of customers contains some of the most prestigious companies worldwide. The best solution for small workload projects, easy rerailing and transfer. Rail-road trucks are complex and versatile machines that can be driven on public roads like a normal truck but also they can be driven on railway. We are producing Rail-road equipments based on original chassis produced by different brands (Man, Mercedes, Volvo ) and with two variants of traction: tire friction and hydrostatic transmission. The conversion is done according to CE regulation and EN15746, a high level of safety being achieved. Different auxiliary equipments like cranes, elevated working platforms, rail manipulators, generators, sweeper, are available. FLASH BUTT WELDING TRUCK A Flash Butt Welding Truck which meets the customer s specifications exactly is more cost effective and economical in operation in the long term. A collaboration project, therefore, always begins with a detailed assessment of requirements. In direct cooperation with welding equipment manufacturer Hiarom is producing Rail Welding Trucks. We are integrating the complete solution or we can supply only the truck prepared for the Welding Machine. These trucks are the biggest in our production range; the maximum gross vehicle weight can be 42000 kg. Different configurations are available in order to match the equipment. We are using two versions of traction: tire friction and hydrostatic transmission. The conversion is done according to CE regulation and EN15746, a high level of safety being achieved. We have a close and direct cooperation with Contrail which are specialists in rail welding technology. This design considerably simplifies the manufacture, servicing and repair, as well as the operation. MULTISERVICE VEHICLE (VMS) VMS is a multi-service vehicle designed to transport heavy loads in complex and narrow environments. The Vehicle Multi-Service (VMS) is a low-bed vehicle used for different jobs on construction sites, like carrying sleepers, rail material, concrete mixers, and more. Tunnel construction requires a complex and intelligent logistical support. In order to assure this, special machines as Multiservice Vehicle (VMS) are used. State of the art equipments from Hiarom are just the right tool when it comes to railway tunnels. The VMS is available in both variants rail and road and rail or road. It has a maximum vehicle weight of 34 tones tow cockpits to avoid U-turns in the tunnel. Several configurations can be provided. Inside our equipments you will find latest technology engines compliant with the most restrictive emission norms, powerful all-wheel hydrostatic transmission fully automated, reliable safety systems and modern combined braking technology. Options like rail supports, twist-locks, moving floor, closed cabin, two seats cabin are also available. RAIL-ROAD SHUNTERS Smooth start thanks to continuous variable hydrostatic transmission. No friction clutch. Easy and economical service and maintenance. Custom-made versions consisting of standard components have been designed. Hiarom is producing a range of rail-road shunters which are used for moving railway wagons, locomotives or carriages. These are not railway conversions but specially designed machines for shunting. This assures very high traction capabilities even from start or at very low speeds, good protection against mechanical shocks and very good overall efficiency especially at low speeds. They have the advantage of moving very easy on both rail and road which assure a great mobility. Because of the greater friction coefficient of rubber on rail they can carry out shunting task of a locomotive 3 to 4 times heavier and with an important cost saving. The traction is full hydrostatic with wheel motors in each wheel which means no gearbox or cardan-shafts are used. Because of the hydrostatic transmission the machine configuration is very versatile, so a big range of machine can be obtained. Basically we can configure a machine for every customer specific needs. The control of transmission is fully automatic with a dedicated computer.
