ONE SCREEN TWO FUNCTIONS ONE EDGE FREEFLOW
PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS KEY HIGHLIGHTS Eliminates screen plugging and blockages. THE MOST AGGRESSIVE FLIP FLOW SCREEN ON THE MARKET... Ability to run 10% faster than competing flip flow screens. Combines a unique stepped top deck with innovative flip flow bottom deck technology. Provides operators the ability to process hard screening tasks throughout the year despite the weather conditions. Intelligent modular top deck system allowing numerous media types to be quickly and easily installed side by side. Bolt free modular bottom deck media enables for a quick exchange procedure. Top deck screen media can be quickly and easily replaced thanks to their modular design. Dead areas at feed shelf and top deck cross members have been reduced to maximise screening area. The EDGE FreeFlow Screen range allows for two screening operations in one unit. Customers can now processed un-prescreened material via the Free- Flow s robust scalping screen top deck whilst providing a fine screening function of difficult to screen material via the flip flow bottom deck. This allows for large unscreened material to be screened on a flip flow screen. The top deck provides a relief function, which allows for reduced stresses and optimal screening on the aggressive flip flow bottom deck leading to less wear and increased screen media lifespan. The EDGE FreeFlow Screen range provides a highly efficient screening solution for sticky, moist materials with a high percentage of fines and is ideal for the processing of compost, wood, skip waste, trommel fines, construction and demolition waste and incinerator ash. Designed to eliminate the blinding or blockage of the screen media that often occurs with traditional screens when screening wet or sticky material. With increased throughput, high efficiency, adjustable speed and throw and quality end products; the EDGE FreeFlow Screen range is the ideal separation solution for difficult to screen materials.
DESIGN FEATURES EDGE Innovate have worked tirelessly to ensure our products are of the highest quality. We only ever use parts and products that have been developed, tested and proven to provide optimal performance and reduce operating and maintenance costs. Every part is vital for uptime and performance. 7 WEAR PROTECTION Heavy duty wear protection is provided by 10mm HARDOX feed shelf with additional 10mm HARDOX wear liners found on the oversize and midsize chutes. Replaceable 6mm HARDOX wear liners are also fitted to the top deck and flip-flow bottom deck side walls as standard. 6 BOTTOM DECK MEDIA Tensioned rubber deck cassette has been specifically designed to promote media flex and self cleaning. Drastically reduces the chances of material pegging or blinding. Various polyurethane media types with different panel thickness, hardness, pattern and aperture available. 7 6
1STRUCTURE 2TOP DECK DESIGN 3TOP DECK MEDIA Robust FEA optimised design. Heavy duty box section cross members for top deck support and structural strength. Compact bottom deck shear mount arrangement to maximise screening width. 4 level, aggressive scalping action with robust design. Screening area has been vastly improved by reducing the dead areas found on the feed shelf and top deck cross members. Drop-in modular systems enables for the top deck screen to accommodate a wider range of media types. Intelligent modular top deck media system allows for different media type combinations (e.g. punch plate followed by 3D deck panels etc.) 1 2 3 4 4DRIVE Double-ended reversible shaft design enables the FreeFlow screen to be powered hydraulically or electrically from left or right side using the same shaft and flywheel housing. Wide range of speeds and throws enables the top deck for optimised performance for a wide range of applications. 5 5BOTTOM DECK Most aggressive flip -flow screen on the market with mat acceleration of up to 50g. Ability to run at higher speeds than competing screens. Wide range of adjustable throws and speeds enables the bottom deck to be tailored for numerous applications.
MAXIMUM UPTIME MOVEMENT The EDGE FreeFlow screen bottom deck encompasses two screening frames; with consecutive fixed and floating cross members. This allows for the tensioning and relaxing of the polyurethane flip flow deck media which generates the high force of up to 50g. APERTURE This movement causes the polyurethane mats to alternately compress and then stretch allowing for the actual apertures to increase in size as the mat is stretched as shown below. Any near aperture size particles which have become pegged are then released as the aperture is stretched. UPTIME AND FLEXIBILITY This flexing creates up to 50g of force compared to a conventional screen which typically generates up to 5g ensures the polyurethane mats reject material that would traditional remain pegged in conventional screens. Combining the increase in force along with mat flexibility enables a massive reduction in downtime and provides operators the ability to screen the most difficult of materials. Conventional horizontal and linear screens Flip Flow screen Blinding Pegging Optimum screening efficiency
