SafePlus ad SafeRig Voltage ad short circuit idicators As a optio these uits ca be equipped with fixed type or plug-i type voltage idicators as well as electroic short circuit idicators for simple fault idicatio. Commuicatios Circuit breaker with relay Whe vacuum circuit breakers are used for trasformer protectio, self powered microprocessor based over curret ad earth fault relay are used. The protectio system does ot require a exteral power supply, as the power is take from the curret trasformers. Remote cotrol & moitorig uit (optioal) The use of a itegrated remote cotrol ad moitorig uit offers may advatages icludig reductio i dowtime ad icreased efficiecy. Maual / Motorised operatio Maually operated mechaisms for cable ad trasformer switches are part of stadard equipmet. As a optio, they ca also be motorised. Fuses Whe switch fuse combiatios are used for trasformer protectio, the fuse caisters are positioed behid a separately iterlocked cover i frot of the uit. To facilitate fuse replacemet, the operatig hadle is used to remove the fuse caister covers. The fuse trippig system is located at the frot, esurig a waterproof solutio. Arc suppressor As a optio the uits ca be supplied with a arc suppressor which closes automatically o the feeder bushigs if a iteral arc fault occurs. Cable coectios The uits are fitted with stadardised bushigs that comply with DIN 47636. All the bushigs are the same height from the groud ad are protected by a cable cover. The cable covers are supplied with a iterlockig mechaism with the earthig switches. It is also possible to coect parallel cables with a special double cable cover. Cable covers are desiged to accommodate both sigle core ad three core cables. Modularity ad exteral busbar All modules except the meterig pael are oly 325 mm wide. The meterig pael is 650 mm wide icludig bus riser. SafePlus ca be cofigured with a maximum of 5 modules i oe SF6 tak with a iteral busbar. To cofigure switchgear with more tha 5 modules as may taks as eeded ca be joied together with use of a exteral busbar. Alteratively the whole switchgear ca be cofigured fully modular usig a exteral busbar betwee all modules. The exteral busbar is fully isulated i order to maitai climatic idepedece ad esures maiteace-free operatio. The iteral busbar supports a maximum curret of 630 A, while the exteral busbar has a ratig of 1250 A. Trasformer protectio A choice is offered betwee a switch fuse combiatio ad circuit breaker with relay for trasformer protectio. The switch fuse combiatio offers optimal protectio agaist short circuits, while the circuit breaker with relay optio offers better protectio agaist low overcurrets.
