1 tec CB - SF6 Free Switchgear 1.1 Description: Solid Insulated switch is a kind of intelligent, environment-friendly and all conditions switch. With highly reliable safety. It is a fixed pattern design. It is applicable to secondary power distribution system in the voltage range 11KV. It is completely without SF6 gas and other harmful gases. It is without use of any pressure vessel. It is friendly to environment and person. It has advantages of full insulation, long life-time, no maintenance, small size, reliable safety, and it is also not affected by the environment 1.2 Features the Breaker UNIT Solid insulated switch is the core of solid insulated ring main switchgear. The switch is designed to integrate vacuum breaker or load switch, disconnector and earthing switch. The structure is compact which includes front side and back side. The front side is operation mechanism, the back side is primary part. Solid insulated switch can be different functional units with switchgear as a module, multiple modules has same structure, same operation. 1.3 Interrupter: Integrated pole, three phase design, and high creep-age distance. Excellent electric field performance It adopt vacuum arc extinguisher, breaker type disconnector, earthing switch making, cutting head design, special materials, 2 times short-circuit making, 5 times shortcircuit making on upper earthing solution by vacuum making. Switch body protection grade is IP67, it passed 48 hours diving test. Outgoing cable of main busbar and power cable use standard European TYPE C contact, it is easy to close the switchgear with reliable safety. Special insulation material of epoxy resin: a) High mechanical intensity; b) Anti-crack property, heat shrinkable property, thermal conductivity, aging resistance is good; c) More than 110 verification temperature makes th e epoxy resin keep insulation capacity in working condition of high temperature. d) Low moisture penetration performance Special design of fuse structure reduces partial discharge effectively; it is convenient to change fuse and prevent vapour into fuse unit, which improve the security of long running. It is convenient to open the panel, change parts or check circuit. Disconnector has function of electric operation, which can realize distribution network automation. Disconnector, earthing switch has independent operation hole, and it can be equipped with active lock, padlock or electromagnetic lock. With the inspection window it is possible to have visual verification on the disconnector. The switch is designed to integrate a Vacuum Breaker (interrupter) Disconnector and Earthing switch air insulated. 1.4 Type test: 3

1.12 tec Busbars System 630 Amps or 1250 Amps 11kV Busbars available Applications: Switch panels are connected via fully insulated or Screened Busbars. For 1250 Amp ratings the busbar will be double tier. The connections on the switchgear is a type C Via switchgear bushing, the busbars enable connections among switchgears. Max system operating voltage 15kV/24kV Characteristics: Able to provide fully-insulated and fully-sealed separable connections with type matched bushing. Single pole and plug-in design. The busbar consists of round copper bars (tubes) and is covered with a composite silicone rubber insulating layer. End connectors and cross joints with silicone rubber insulation are used for connection with the busbars The shielded busbar is free of requirement on least phase distance and effects of contamination and condensate leakage. The unshielded busbar should be mounted with a shield. Characteristics: Able to provide fully-insulated and fully-sealed separable connections with type matched bushing. 3 Cable Terminations for Type C connectors 630 Amps 12kV The one thing that is not recommended (actually forbidden) is Putty and Tape terminations There are three types recommended: 1) Flexible connector 2) Unscreened Silicon bushings 3) Fully screened Bushings. 3.1 Flexible connector These are Pre-moulded Un-Screened silicone insulating bushing boots. This is to be used on type C MV bushings up to a voltage of 12kV Normal Heat Shrink terminations are used. High quality Lugs is required or Normal Heat shrink terminations is used. 3.2 Unscreened Silicone bushings These are insulated T-shaped (right angled) pre-moulded un-screened silicone bushing boots suitable for use on 12kV Type C 630A bushings. It has a very compact profile, making It is suitable for use in compact gasinsulated secondary switchgear. This is where the spacing between bushings is significantly reduced. The pre-moulded shape ensures optimal/full contact over the entire Type C bushing profile thus improving its ability to eliminate unwanted leakage currents. For type 1 and 2 : Normal Heat Shrink terminations High quality Lugs is required or Mechanical Lugs (torque-cheer) Type 3 will be supplied with connecting bolt and Mechanical Lugs 3.3 Fully screened Bushings. 8
