The operátor can select appropriate setting for the job, fro a so setting to full atch. High breakout řorce on the 992C is due to the echanical advantage of the Z-bar linkage geoetry and an effective, efficient use of the hydraulic systé forces. With this linkage, the buckeťs dup velocity decreases near the end of its dup otion, resulting in reduced dup shock.

Built in protection and efficiency. Operator's copartent features Electronic Monitoring Syste (EMS) for status check of iportant achine systes with three levels of warning. I. Operátor Awareness: LED light on instruent panel indicates a potential but not yet critical problé. II. Operátor Response Required: A ain warning light directly in front of operátor indicates continued operation could cause eventual coponent failure. III. Iediate Shutdown: Flashing warning light and horn warn that operation will cause iediate failure of a coponent. A circuit test switch verifies systé reliability. Sound-suppressed cab plus ROPS offers operátor protection and encourages axiu efficiency. ROPS structure is isolated fro operátor station for noise control. The cab is resiliently ounted and the dooř fraework is welded into the cab for extra rigidity. Features include tinted glass, windshield washer and wiper, large doe light, sliding le window, swing-out right-hand half dooř and large entry dooř with safety lock. Pilot-operated control valves provide control... plus ease of operation. Hydraulic control levers are in a console to the operátor's right. When the levers are engaged, pilot hydraulic pressure actuates the ain control valve to eter oil flow to the corresponding li oř tilt cylinders, while the reote pilot valve aintains a constant pressure. No reaction delay, and li ars and bucket can be inched and feathered with accuracy. Reduce costs in rock. Four-wheel oil disc brakes háve 4748 sq. in/30 635 c 2 of braking surface per wheel.
