Features The MiraVista Collection of roller shades offers the most comprehensive assortment of fabrics today. Divided into 5 key sub categories including Designer, EnviroGreen, Grasscloth, Blackout and Screens, these fabrics can be tailored to any style of design and application. Choose from the widest range of wide width materials from around the world. Many of them exclusive to the MiraVista Collection. MiraVista features include: Chaindrive mechanism - this built in push pin locking mechanism secures the shade at any height and is crashproof. Metal chain is available however must be specified at the time of placing the order. All our shades feature heavy duty, extruded aluminum rollers to prevent deflection and sagging. Exceptionally smooth movement, quiet operation. Option of either white or black clutch and chain. Option of either a sealed hem bar or exposed bar in five colours (white, ivory, silver, black and bronze). Option of either a small or large Arrondi Cassette available in five colours (white, ivory, silver, black and bronze). Provides precise raising and lowering. Universal installation brackets (ceiling, frame, right, left). Efficient lock mechanism, easy to lock and easy to release, has multi-lock position. Child safety cord guide standard on every shade. Wrap included in all fabrics heights. Motorization available. All screen and EnviroGreen materials are ultra-sonic cut, preventing fraying of edges. EnviroGreen Maxxmar s EnviroGreen TM fabrics used in their roller shades and panel tracks are truly environmentally friendly. These fabrics have been independently tested and certified to be flame resistant (Intertek), fungal resistant and bacterial resistant (SGS). Maxxmar s EnviroGreen TM products have several certifications including Oekotex Standard 100 (AITEX), which regulates every chemical in our fabrics. It certifies that they are not dangerous for either the consumer s health or the environment. GREENGUARD is an indoor air quality certification program for low emitting products and materials. Clean indoor air helps improve physical well-being and enhances productivity in the work environment. Product Specifications Roller Shade MiraVista Roller Shades are both ideal decorative and functional choices to cover your windows. The wide selection of fabrics, textures and colours will enhance any room decor. Many of the fabrics offer visibility of the outdoors while protecting valuable furniture, flooring and decorative accessories from the harmful UV rays penetrating through the window. The fabric choices range from the most opaque through semi-translucent to the most sheer and elegant. Roller Shade (Front View) Valance Options/Operating Systems Roller Shade (Reverse Roll) Spring Assist System This manually operated clutch system reduces the effort required to raise the shade while providing for smoother operation. Spring Assist Roller Shade Clutch System accommodates left or right hand shades. Ideal for larger shades by reducing pull force. Quickly installs at installation site. No adjustments necessary Surcharge $100.00 (add to retail shade price) Maximum size is 80 sq. ft.. Minimum width of shade is 30. Spring assist can only be used in one of the Arrondi Cassette choices. Blackout System An extruded box cassette which completely conceals the deluxe chain clutch system. This cassette in combination with side channels and deluxe hem bar will create a blackout shade. Available in white and anodized aluminum. Small Arrondi Cassette Large Arrondi Cassette Small and Large Arrondi Cassette Manually concealed operated clutch system concealed in an cassette headrail. Both the small and large Arrondi cassette include a fabric insert to match the actual shade. All cassettes are offered in a choice of 5 colours (white, ivory, black, silver and bronze). Please specify at time of order. Sleek, curved design makes screen and EnviroGreen fabrics more adaptable to residential use. No visible brackets. Intermediate bracket allows two shades in one headrail with minimal light gap. See bottom of each price grid for surcharges for the two different sizes. Surcharge of $365.00 (add to base shade price). Shade Link System The Link-Drive system is designed to drive multiple roller shades operated by a single clutch. Unique design allows for easy snap-in installation with the added ability to precisely level shades to prevent telescoping. Link bracket surcharge - $50 per bracket (bracket supports 2 shades) Shade Bracket System Dual Bracket System Bracket System / Dual Bracket System Allows shades to be mounted in any combination (front roller / reverse roll) so as to maximize light control. Minimal depth required to mount 2 shade applications in the same room providing great versatility No surcharge applies, specify at time of order shade bracket system Allows for minimal gap between shades when operating individually controlled shades - No surcharge. On the dual bracket system as a result of the potential size variances from different fabrics, there is no valance available. Tension Rod The "Tension Rod System" consists of drapery tension rods inserted into pockets that are on either end of the fabric panel. The blind will not be operable and is easy to install and can be used in horizontal, vertical or skylight applications. A minimum depth of 1" is required. Deduct 1/4" for clearance for both the width and length. Surcharge to Seasonal Shade - $153.00 retail plus fabric panel. Motorization Options: Battery motor with infrared remote control Only one remote control is required to operate many blinds Multiple funchtion remote control allows intermediate positions. Infrared micro-sensors are used so the system will work even from behind a valance. The six lithium batteries necessary are included. Not recommended for big shades. Please consult Customer Service. 50452 with wall switch Motor on 120-volt with enough power to operate large shades. Compatible with any control groups. The switch must be installed by a qualified electrician. Altus with radio remote control Motor on 120 V with enough power to operate large shades. Shade actuation can be performed from great distances. An electrician is not required. LT28 with wall switch or remote control Low voltage motor. Can be operated by infrared or radio remote control, by wall switches or it can be adapted to a home automation center. An electrician is not required. Measuring Information Accurate measurements are essential. Using a metal tape measure, round all measurements down to the nearest 1/8". Roller blinds can be installed inside the window frame, ceiling mounted or positioned outside the window frame. MEASURING FOR INSIDE INSTALLATION For blinds to be installed inside the window frame, a minimum of 2 1/2" depth is required of mounting surface, at each bracket position. WIDTH - Measure the exact distance between the inside of the window frame on one side to the inside frame of the other side. Measure in two locations and give the factory the narrowest measurement to the nearest 1/8 inch. Factory will make 1/8 deduction if blind ordered as Tight measure. Remember the cloth will be 1 1/8" to 1 1/4" inch narrower than the overall size, depending on the roller size. LENGTH - Measure height of window opening from top of frame to lower sill. Wrap is included in the suggested retail price. MEASURING FOR OUTSIDE INSTALLATION Determine the area the blind is supposed to cover. Check to see that there are no window cranks, handles etc. to interfere with the blind operation. WIDTH - Measure the width where the brackets are to be installed. Decide how much you wish to overlap the window frame at each side and at the top and bottom of the frame. We recommend you overlap 3" on each side to insure privacy. Blinds will be made exactly to the measurement supplied. Remember the 1 1/8" to 1 1/4" difference between cloth size and pin size and order pin size by drop. LENGTH - Measure the distance from the desired bracket position to the point where bottom of blind will extend. Be sure to overlap at both top and bottom of window 3" to insure privacy. Wrap is included in the suggested retail price. NOTE: Due to the nature of roller shades, the material may tend to curl along its edge. However after hanging for a few days it will flatten out. All blinds are made to measure. If size ordered lies between measurements given on the price list the price charged will be that of the next larger size.
