Thanks for your understanding Trade monitoring through customs surveillance data The TAXUD surveillance system ("customs surveillance") records and centralizes all EU trade data (import and exports) directly from the national customs authorities on a daily basis. For each transaction, the stored data contain the information available on the Single Administrative Document (SAD), including the volume and origin of the consignment. According to Art.55(2) of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/2447, the customs authorities shall provide the Commission at least once a week with data on customs declarations for the goods that have been made subject to surveillance at release for free circulation or at export. The "customs surveillance" data provide actual and prompt information about the trade (import/export) transaction in terms of volume and origin or destination. This report is published on a weekly basis.
