INDUSTRIAL GEARBOX OILS PARTHAN EP These are premium quality oils manufactured from high quality base stocks fortified with extreme pressure additives, antifoam, antirust and antioxidation agents, thereby they have excellent oxidation resistance and thermal stability. PARTHAN EP grades contain phosphorous and sulfur as extreme pressure agents. These are non-corrosive to copper and copper alloys. Specifications: PARTHAN EP grades meet IS: 8406-1993, USS 224, AGMA standard 250.04, DIN 51 517 part 3, IPSS 1-09- 003-82 and CINCINNATI MILACRON P-63, P-77, P-57, P-35. PARTHAN EP grades are approved by ABB- ABL projects for their various equipments Application Area: These oils are recommended for all heavy duty enclosed gear drives with circulation or splash lubrication system operating under heavy or shock load conditions, plain and antifriction bearings subjected to shock and heavy loads. PARTHAN ML SERIES Certain Industrial Gear Units in are exposed to high-load/low-speed conditions which can lead to the breakdown of the lubricating film that is normally required for a long bearing life. This problem was identified by the R&D of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and premium mineral grade oil PARTHAN ML series has been developed to counter the micro-pitting problems. PARTHAN ML has been specially formulated with new generation extreme pressure additive which is chlorine free and offers long term protection against rust and corrosion while simultaneously keeping gear parts clean and also ensuring good filterability. Premium antioxidants provide long service life in applications. The formulated product offers long term seal and component compatibility. PARTHAN PG 150 PARTHAN PG 150 is a high performance synthetic gas compressor lubricant based on a Polyalkylene glycol. It is designed for enclosed pattern gas compressors for hydrocarbon and chemical gases where the crankcase and bearings operate in a gas-filled atmosphere. Under these conditions the gas is readily soluble in mineral oil lubricants which, on dilution, suffer a significant drop in viscosity (please refer to attachment giving graph of viscosity/ Pressure) and lubricant performance. This problem can be overcome by using PARTHAN PG in which the gases are much less soluble. PARTHAN PG is particularly suitable for marine service on vessels carrying specialist liquefied gas cargoes. Advantages: PARTHAN PG 150 offers the following advantages over mineral oils and competitive synthetic fluids: Reduced gas solubility leading to improved wear protection, extended lubricant life, improved compressor efficiency and reduced foaming. Multigas service for a wide range of gases including vinyl chloride and butadiene. The lubricant does not promote the dimerisation of butadiene or generate solid deposits. PARTHAN PG 320 is made from special Water soluble polyalkylene glycol base stocks, known to provide outstanding micropitting and EP characteristics. PARTHAN PG 460 PARTHAN PG grades are a range of Polyalkylene Glycol based synthetic lubricants, which provide outstanding load carrying properties and excellent thermal stability. They have been purpose designed to provide excellent thermal stability. They have been purpose designed to provide excellent corrosion protection. (ASTM D 665 Procedure B pass) and demulsibility characteristics (according to ASTM D 1401). Applications: PARTHAN PG Grades allow thermally stable operation at temperatures in excess of 200 C. Typical applications include lubrication of calenders, piston compressors, bevel, spiral bevel, helical, spur and worm gear units. The lubricants are free of Chlorine, sulphur and metal based additives including lead. They remain homogeneous from below their pour point to temperatures in excess of 250 C.
