GLOBAL EV OUTLOOK 2026

LDV EV80 Fleet Engineers / Transport Managers Some Key questions to answer Do you have any current charging infrastructure on site, type and capacity? What power source is available on site? Three phase/single, both? Does it return to depot between drops? Where is the van parked overnight? Does the van use the same route? LEZ / ULEZ / Congestion charging? Where and how far do you go? Daily Mileage? How many stop / starts? What weight do you carry? Can you charge on route?

PROVEN TECHNOLOGY SAIC MAXUS EV80 pure electric vehicle achieves zero pollution and zero emission relying on its ultra-long endurance mileage, highly efficient power, comprehensive safety protection, high loading capacity and other advantages. Its maximum driving range is up to 120 mile when charged once. Battery capacity of 56kwh and 92kW 320Nm motor. Over 5000 running in China This is not a development van This is proven technology!

LDV EV80 Case Study 1 Unit Movements Fleet Size 40+ in SW Contract Ikea Fleet Engineer - David Evans Trial in Bristol prior to Ikea opening in Exeter Driver Training key / No Base Chargers Using Zap Map app / Polar rfid card Bristol Portishead with 700 kgs payload 40 miles with mixture of motorway and urban Not charged on run and did similar again without charging / Recharged in 70 minutes Used extensively on runs around Bristol typically around 60 miles radius even to Bath vicinity with approx. 40% charge still held. Used local charging points especially around hospital and council offices as good van access

LDV EV80 Case Study 1 Unit Movements Driver reaction easy to use, pleasure to drive in fact, well suited to local deliveries. Thought planning the journey of the van more than diesel. Charging Stations available nationwide Keeping on eye on available power and driving it economically. prompting driver to drive efficiently. From a route planning perspective, it is perfectly feasible to plan routes for the EV80. Use of Apps e.g. Zapmap. Conclusion There is no doubt that the EV80 is a user friendly vehicle, being simple to operate & a pleasure to drive. Even without a depot charge point we utilised the EV80 as a fully functioning local multi drop delivery vehicle albeit with some restrictions and limitations. There is no doubt as technology improves, electric vehicles will become the norm. The EV80 is a good starting point with our commitment to embrace zero emission vehicles.

LDV EV80 Case Study 2 Wilson James Fleet Size 200+ Based Heathrow Area HLI Material Manager -Darren Schauerman - Run Heathrow engineering stores landside at the Colnbrook Logistics Centre and main store airside at Terminal 2b. - Ran two diesel Luton vans to deliver spares, however Heathrow airport have target of all airside vehicle to be electric by 2025. - 2 x EV80 Luton Vans with tail-lift went live July 2018 Delivery of these Luton vans, means all of our vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes at Heathrow are either electric or hybrid, according to John Spottiswood, HLI Director.

LDV EV80 Case Study 2 Wilson James Average mileage covered is around 5000-10,000. Lutons have workable payload even with tail-lift Charging facilities are onsite with 4 x 22kw chargers supplied by Elmtronic plus 2 x 50kw ABB Units. Driver reaction so far has been positive, vehicles were bespoke for their operation so there was driver input which helped, being used on a 7 day cycle. The Lutons are to be kept for between 3 to 5 years.

LDV EV80 OVERVIEW Both operators believe electric is the future Both had demo vans before purchase Both looked at specific operations These are not green trophies but serious fleet commercial vehicles At LDV this is just the start!

LDV EV80 Hackney Launches Ultra Low Emission Streets They are launching 2 zones in the City Fringe that, during peak hours, will be restricted to walking, cycling and low emissions vehicles only (vehicles that emit less than 75g/km of CO2). Petrol, diesel and older hybrid vehicles will not be permitted on the streets during these hours. These zones, known as ultra low emissions streets, or ULEV streets, will prioritise low pollution transport, reducing the harmful effects of pollution in the City Fringe during commuting hours, making it easier and safer to walk and cycle and improving the character of the area for residents and businesses. To minimise the disruption to residents and businesses, access to the streets will be maintained outside peak hours. From Monday 3 September 2018, ULEV streets will be in operation Monday to Friday, 7-10am and 4-7pm.
