Safety Rules WARNING Read this manual thoroughly before operating your plow. Failure to follow instructions could result in serious injury or death. Do not exceed 5 mph, even with blade raised. Make sure that all nuts and bolts are tightened per installation instructions. Never operate this KFI product with missing or damaged parts. Drive slowly over bumpy and rough terrain, driving fast could cause damage to winch or plow. Never raise the plow above point of contact as it could cause damage to machine, plow or winch. Always perform regular inspections and maintenance on plow tubes and hardware before use. Operate with extreme caution on slopes, steep grades, and rough terrain. Be aware of any possible hidden objects under the snow. Do not ram the blade into the pile. CAUTION Take care when installing PLOW SPRINGS as they will be under tension. Use care when lifting components into place. DANGER Never stand or ride on the plow. Page 4

. Plow Blade Installation Instructions Before starting the assembly of the blade and tubes see your Hybrid Mount (0555) instructions to ensure it will work with your ATV. (Install all hardware loose) 6 7. 5. Install the left (6) and right (5) blade gussets to the support bracket () using the 5/6 x 3/4 standard carriage bolts (7.) and nuts (7.). This will create the blade frame assembly. Note: there are different neck lengths on a carriage bolt, short and standard. See Figure 3 for differences. 7.5 7. Figure Blade Frame Assembly SHORT NECK CARRIAGE BOLT STANDARD CARRIAGE BOLT 7., 7.3, 7.4 Figure 3 Carriage Bolt Diagram 7. A 3. Attach the blade frame assembly to the blade in location (A) using 5/6 x 3/4 Short Neck carriage bolts (7.5) and nuts (7.). See Figure. 7. 3 4. Next attach the wear bar (4) to the plow blade () by installing the five 5/6 x standard carriage bolts (7.3) in the center through the cutter blade (4), plow blade () and support bracket (). Secure the carriage bolts with 5/6 nuts (7.). See Figure. 7.4 7.5 5. Install the blade feet (3) as shown in Figure using the 5/6 x /4 standard carriage bolts (7.4). 7.3 7.4 4 Figure Cutter Blade, Frame and Feet Install Note: Adjust the feet by loosening the nuts and sliding the feet up and down to the desired position. Push Tube Assembly and Installation Instructions 5.5 0 5.3 7. Assemble Left Handle Plate (3), X Washer (5.3), Pivot Handle (), Right Handle Plate (), and Hook Plate (0) using the 5/6 x / standard carriage bolt (5.4) and 5/6 flange nut (5.5) as shown in Figure 4. Tighten down nut so that Angle lever moves freely. This will create the angle lever assembly. (B) 5.4 3 Figure 4 Angle Lever Assembly (B) 8. Install Angle Lever Assembly (B) to the Tube Weldment (8) as shown in Figure 5. Use the 5/6 x standard carriage bolts (5.8) and 5/6 nuts (5.5) to secure the left and right Handle Plates. Tighten down bolts. 5.8 B 5. 5.4 0 9 9. Secure the Pivot Plate (9) to the Tube Weldment (8) and Hook Plate (0) using the 5/8 x 3/4 structural bolt (5.0), 5/8 lock washer (5.4) and 5/8 lock nut (5.) as shown in Figure 5. Tighten down nut and bolt so that the plate will pivot with ease but is not loose. 0. Install the Pivot Lever Spring (6) to the tab on the Tube Weldment (C) and the hole in the Pivot Handle () as shown in Figure 6. 8 6 C 5.5 5.0 Figure 5 Angle Plate and Angle Lever Assembly Install Figure 6 Pivot Lever Spring Install Page 8

Blade Gusset Hole 5. 5.. Place washer bearing (4) into hole in blade gusset and secure blade to tube system by fastening with the ½ carriage bolt (5.), washers (5.3) and lock nut (5.), as shown in Figure 7. Repeat on right hand side. 5.3 4 Figure 7 Pivot Bolt Assembly. Hook the plow springs (Item 8) into the smaller rear holes in the pivot plate (9), as shown in Figure 8. Place the eyebolts (Item 5.) onto the end of the plow springs and secure the eyebolts onto the plow blade gusset, as shown in Figure 8. Leave spring tension loose as you will decide tension in Step 5. GUSSET 8 3. Decide desired pitch of blade. Each hole allows 5 degrees of blade pitch adjustment. Note: Figure 9 shows the default position. 5. Figure 8 Spring Assembly 9 4. With springs installed pitch blade under tension and install 3/4 hex socket head cap screw (5.7) using 3/8 Allen wrench or pliers; and 7/6 lock nut (5.6) into desired pitch position hole. As shown in Figure 9. 5.7 Default 5.6 5. Tighten nuts down on eye bolt until desired spring tension is reached. See Figure 0 for default tension. Note: For each /4 that the nut is tightened it will add 7 lbs of spring tension. This will make a total of 4 lbs with both springs. 3/4 DEFAULT Figure 9 Pitch Adjustment Bolt (Spring not shown for clarity.) Figure 0 Spring Adjustment Page 9

6. The tube system has five positions of rotation for your blade. Each adjustment is a.5 degree increment. To adjust, push down on the handle (Figure, Item ) and rotate your blade left or right until you reach the desired angle. Note: Make sure handle is locked in before plowing. Figure Blade Rotation Angle 7. Attach the tube system to the Hybrid Mount System, by first positioning the tube system, with blade installed, under your ATV. Then raise tube attach points to the mount and line up the holes on mount plate with the holes in the tube system. Insert Pin through holes and secure on other side with clips as shown in Figure. 8.
